club level and magic bands

Since we're Canadian and we always have to pick up our magic bands at check-in I have a question about club level. Our next trip is our first time staying club level since magic bands were introduced. Does anyone know if we pick up our magic bands at the main reception or at the CL check-in desk?

Canadian also.... The last time we stayed club level at BC they were available from the check-in at club level (not at the front desk -- they brought them out with out check-in sparkling wine.) There was someone in the front of the resort with an ipad that approached us.... that trip we never even went to the front desk. I think the only time this wouldn't be the case is after-club level hours... i.e. if you arrived at 2am they would likely be picked up at the front desk or if it was very short notice reservation. YMMV but I suspect this would likely be the case.

I think there's a person with an ipad at all hotels now (or at least every one we've stayed at in the last few years). In my experience, they do exactly what you're saying. They're basically a pre-check in stop. When we stayed CL at GF, the ipad person asked our name and by the time we were in the lobby, the concierge was waiting for us. He gave us our magic bands, took us on a tour, and answered our questions. It was a very smooth process.

Not until March. A friend was just there (Americans though so have their MB's mailed of course) and it made me wonder about how the non-US residents' MB's are handled.

i hope your trip is awesome! sometimes we have had to remind whoever is helping us that they have our bands waiting, but we’ve never run into trouble (we’ve done around 8 check in’s since magic bands were released)

They have magic bands in both locations. If the club level desk is open when you arrive, go there & they'll have them.

We were at Beach Club club level last week. I lost my magic band & went to the club level desk to tell them. They walked over to a nearby room & immediately gave me a new band in the color of my choice.

I mean our personalized ones when we check in. Just wasn't sure which desk would have them.

They will be at the club level desk. As PP said you may have to remind them to look for them. Also, have them look for the special baggage tags that should be under the magic bands. Not all CMs are well versed in this and inadvertently throw them out. Have a great trip.

Yes! This annoys me - they're supposed to be part of the package, but we've only gotten them once and I had to ask. The CM seemed totally confused, had to ask someone else and they just gave us the generic grey ones, not the ones that should have corresponded with our MB's.
