Can someone give me the skinny on Club Level? I am looking at Contemp. Atrium level.

What are the perks exactly? Is it just the snacks and food/drinks? Having someone make your ADR's. I can do that - or have you found that they have extra pull or they keep trying to get the ADR's you want if something is full, or get you better tables, times etc?

Are the rooms any different or have any different views?

Mostly, I am curious to what dining plan do you do when you have CL? We did Deluxe dining on our first trip but did not do CL. I am wondering if we did go CL could we drop down a level on the dining plan?

Besides the food offerings you will also get a private check-in right on the 12th floor. Now as for them getting any extra pull with ADR's, the Club Level Cast Members working at the Contemporary could get something at Chef Mickey's, The Wave or California Grill at the last minute if they were sold out, since those restaurants are located in the Contemporary. The reason is when a Contemporary Club Level Cast Members logs onto their ADR system it knows they are doing it from a Club Level lounge. So it might show something being available, where as guests not staying there wouldn't be as lucky. As for their rooms they are exactly the same as the other Tower rooms and Garden Wing rooms.

Now when it comes to staying Club Level and having the Disney Dining Plan I personally wouldn't do that. The reason is you will always be going from one ADR to another so your credits don't go to waste. So when would you be able to enjoy the food offerings in the lounge.

I have done deluxe dining many times and loved it, but not with CL. The regular ddp does not work for us. We like the signature restaurants. Our next trip we are staying CL and no dining plan. We still plan on going out to dinner every night, but I really think deluxe dining would be overkill. Breakfast is provided. I don't think will need a very big lunch. We will probably just eat a light cs somewhere. I don't know how much of evening apps will eat, but the beer and wine will be great. We will still do a TS every night. That is kind of my plan staying CL. If you can afford both and plan on doing a lot of signature restaurants then why not. I see no problem staying CL and having the DXDP. I can only afford one or the other so I chose CL this time.

I have stayed CL w/the regular DP. We have breakfast in lounge, lunch is quick service, dinner is table service. We use snack credits while at the parks. We use the lounge for pool time = snacks & drinks and in the evenings for desserts & drinks.

When I plan trips that can't afford both, I pick CL.

If you can afford both, go for it! If not, look at which you would get more use out of.

What are the perks exactly?
. . . the lounge is open 7:00am-10:30pm
. . . snacks are available most of the day
. . . soft drinks and beer are available all day
. . . cordials are available in the evening

Is it just the snacks and food/drinks?
. . . for the most part
. . . there are some "entrée-type" snacks
. . . but not "meal-quantity"

. . . Club Floor concierge have no more pull than you do
. . . sometimes they can get you into their own eateries easier
. . . but, better tables, times, views are not part of the perks

Are the rooms any different or have any different views?
. . . club floor rooms are the same size as other rooms, except suites
. . . the views are the same

Mostly, I am curious to what dining plan do you do when you have CL?
. . . we do not do dining plan when doing CL
. . . there is too much food/snacks available on club floor
. . . one can easy satisfy breakfast needs, and maybe lunch

I am wondering if we did go CL could we drop down a level on the dining plan?
. . . absolutely

Thank y'all so much! Now I have just have to decide which route to take. Honestly, last time we did not spend much time at the resort but we did run around quite a bit for ADR's, it wasn't crazy but we had an ADR for most all of our breakfasts and dinners. We did several character meals and several signature dining meals.

This time with a younger child (only 6 mos younger than our 4 year old was last time we went) I wonder if we'll be doing much signature dining. I also wonder if we might be heading back to the resort earlier and taking more breaks than we did last time. If so CL might be a better fit for this trip.

:)

I always do CL and Basic DDP! perfect mix for us! I think you'll like it very much.....breakfast needs are covered in CL lounge, QS lunch the TS dinner....sometimes we will save a TS credit and add it to another days credit for a signature meal.....then do a QS dinner....I've always found this plan to work best with the CL offerings :) enjoy!

I say try the CL and the regular dining plan- how will you know if you will like something until you try it? Like you said, you may be spending more time at your resort this trip, so enjoy your resort to the max!

You may decide this is the way to go for you next trip also.

We did CL at CR (Atrium Club) with the dining plan last year and it worked perfectly for us! We used the lounge for breakfast and snacks and then ate dinner out. Only think I am doing different this trip is making our ADRs a little later so we can enjoy the evening offerings more. Last time the kids were younger and I wanted them to eat earlier. Turned out they didn't need to and we missing the evening stuff. This time we just are eating after 6:30 so we can do both!
