Club Cool? Still at Epcot?

So thanks to the disboards.. i have read about the beverly... while there with the family in july. we had wondered into the club cool for the first time. with the rest of my family we started trying the different drinks.. I had forgotten at that time which one was nasty so i was kinda holding back only drinking what the others had liked.. well my youngest tried the beverly first and very quitely made a nasty face and dumped the drink.. she didnt tell anyone else about it.. then my husband ( who likes eveything) took a big drink of the beverly and about puked... and me and my youngest started laughing so hard.. we still talk about this drink.. way to funny..

Yep, still there. I actually like Beverly. My DD however had a priceless face when I made her try it. My favorite is from Costa Rica, DD loves one from Israel, my mom liked Costa Rica as well.

Was the Costa Rican one the one that tastes like champagne cola? If so, you can find some champagne cola, Inca Kola, or Good-o Kola up in NY as a sub.

Every time my sibs and I go to Epcot with other people who haven't been there before we make them try some Beverly saying "It's the best one!" I love all the reactions!

And then we give them the Japanese one (our favorite) because we feel guilty for lying haha.

I would say it was sort of like a cotton candy, if I am not mistaken but nothing compares to Pepsi, lol.

DW actually didn't mind it. I tried it, and believe fully that it was the single most disgusting thing I've ever drank, though the time I drank vegetable oil comes in a pretty close second

what about Moxie? My dad actually liked that stuff.

Yeah that sounds like it, a cotton candy or juicy fruit sort of taste. If you have a bodega near you, or even a pathmark, check in the "ethnic" aisle (goya aisle) and check for Inca Kola. It's probably the closest to the one at club cool.

But yes, nothing compares to pepsi since drinking too much of the above makes me want to barf after a while.

Jones has a cream soda which tastes an awful lot like cotton candy also.
