So I know this is a long shot, but we are going down to the parks next week (Sun-Tue in the parks) to celebrate my youngest DS 7th bday (Monday). Does anybody on here have access to invite us to the restaurant? Or know anybody that does? It is a dream of mine, aka bucket list, and although he doesn't really understand the awesomeness of Club 33, he will when he is older. A lunch/dinner at Club 33 for his bday would be something to talk about for years to come.

Thank you for your help,
Have a magical trip for those of your going soon! :wizard:
Have a magical time planning for those of you planning your trips :wizard:

Allow me to be the first to give you the canned response we give each week when this question is posted: ;)

1) Many of us have been dreaming of going to Club 33 just the same as you with no such luck.

2) While it can happen, most people are hesitant to give out a reservation to strangers on the internet, as the member is responsible for the diners in their reservation, so if anything should go wrong, it reflects poorly on the member.

3) Usually reservations are made FAR in advance... months! Asking for a reservation in just a few days during the busy summer season is basically impossible even if there was a member willing to make a reservation for you.

That said... good luck! I hope you and your family get to go someday, just don't expect it to be next week :( :wizard:

Just a heads up, reservations are made 60 days in advance.

Thank you for the responses, was not aware of the 60 day out thing. And I am aware many users on here would be interested to go, but it doesn't hurt for me to ask. I actually met a girl that was fortunate enough to get somebody through the DISboards to get her in for her 18th bday a few years ago.

Yes, Dizneekrazee, it never hurts to ask. You just never know when someone will make your dream come true. It can happen someday when you least expect it, so don't give up hope.:wizard:

Thank you guys for the hope & well wishes!!
Jack, if I remember right, you will be in the parks in August right?

good luck!! I was one of the lucky ones, just recently took my DD for her 16th birthday. It was the highlight of a wonderful trip and will be forever cherished. Dreams do come true but remember that we are in essence strangers and it may take a while for your dream to also come true. :) Hang in there and again, best of luck!!

Good Luck :goodvibes

I would love to eat there someday or the new one in California adventure. I would LOVE a membership but the lotto just hasn't been cooperating :lmao: Just out of curiosity does anyone know if the new fees brought the wait list way down?

What do you mean "the new one in California Adventure?" Did I miss something new & cool to add to my bucket list!! Lol :rotfl:

Thank you Pixiewings71, I will continue to be hopeful, and maybe someday, somebody will be my Fairy Godmother/father. pixiedust: If I don't ask, the answer will always be no.

And can somebody please remind me how to make signature with the characters again? I used to have it, deleted it, and now I want it again lol

I think it's just a lounge and not a restaurant but I easily could be wrong. It happens often ;)

There is a private lounge above the carthay circle restaurant. I think it's called something like the 1901 lounge or something like that for Club 33 Members (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

If you are headed towards the Carthay Circle doors, you will see there are 3 doors. The center one takes you upstairs to the restaurant, the left one takes you inside the Carthay lounge, and the right one is the entrance to 1901. It is a small lounge, with the same menu as the Carthay Circle lounge.

Be aware you can eat at the one in CA, the lounge is open, just not the members only area of the lounge. :)

Well...not necessarily. I didn't ask but I was still gifted. :) Although the person who gifted me did know I wanted to go. :)

Jack

We did Sunday Lunch at the Club, it was simply said, amazing. It was DD's 16th birthday, she cried. :)

Jack will you take me with you?:rotfl2:

Me too?! Jack, you lucky duck, you! ( glad to hear you are feeling better so you can go on your trip, btw!) HA! We are going to be there for our honeymoon AND my Birthday! I sooo wish they had some kind of special entry for people who are honeymooning! I mean come-on, honeymoons are supposed to be a once in a lifetime deal! I bet lots of people (myself included) would be willing to pay big bucks to get to visit C33 on their honeymoon! Oh well, just happy to get to go to Disneyland ANY day, even better celebrating!!! YIPPEE!! :D
