Club 33

This is true. It's sort of like the final scene in "The Nun's Story" when she is leaving the convent and you hear the "click" as the door to the outdoor world is unlocked. Once you exit, you're not back in; well, for Club 33 you're not back in until your next visit. (Okay, that was a bit dramatic, but that's how I feel when I leave the club!)

Jack, the person who made the reservation, since he/she is a member, would be able to contact the club and check out the availability of the hoodie and pick it up for you. That might be a possibility for you as well.

Thanks Michael, I will get in touch with them as we move into fall. I would have to assume that a sweatshirt is not much of a summer item.

There was a light weight jacket there and I did check with an attendant and he acknowdged that they do get them in whether he meant sweatshirt or hoodie I am not clear on that. There we shot glasses, members rings and ears is what I remember.

I think it would be a lot cheaper to just go on an Adventures by Disney trip! They get to eat breakfast at Club 33.

It's not guaranteed. We went on the 8/8/10 ABD trip and were fortunate enough to get in. Originally it wasn't planned for us but they switched us from the Plaza to Club 33 the day before. A lot of us had been asking about it and I don't know if that helped for the change or if the Plaza was full.

From what I know, they change the merchandise all the time. They order a limited amount and usually when that runs out they get in something different, that way they can get the members to keep purchasing as new things come into the cabinet.

I've never seen a hoodie, when I was there I asked if they would ever make a tank top and was told "no, because then someone might think it was appropriate to wear it to the club and it would not be", so therefore they would not sell them.

First of all welcome to the boards. I can not help you, wish I could but I was gifted the visit to Club 33 by a very generous individual. I do wish you luck in your venture.

Chateaubriand and lobster! You all are making my mouth water. I don't think Club 33 is in the cards for us though. We're a family of civil servants, as are most of our friends. I'm guessing the state and feds don't have a membership. But, it's fun to dream regardless.

Your not alone...I don't think our local gov has a membership either so we're in the same boat. We'll have to just keep dreaming!

Yeah, not a lot of perks to be had. But, we're just grateful that everyone still has a job ... well, except for me, but I knew my appointment was a temporary one when I took it. LOL

I have two good friends who do the budget for their state agencies. It's been a really stressful year for both of them.
