Club 33?

We pretty much have an open invitation to Club 33 but haven't used it. We have 2 young children and no babysitting. I just cannot imagine the stress I would experience taking them there. We are from out of state and plan to visit DLR once or twice per year. I'm hoping that we'll go within the next year or two.

Also, I've just never been a big fan of fancy restaurants. I LOVE quality food, don't get me wrong but I just don't love food enough to pay that much money for it. I've done it before and it's never felt worth it for me. Plus my DH has food allergies and is very limited as to what he can eat at restaurants. Although, he does have better luck at nicer places who are willing to cook something especially for him.

I think that if for no other reason I'd like to go because of the history of the place. For a Disney enthusiast like me that would be pretty special.

Merryecho, I hope you have luck in finding a sponsor. A DLR trip in itself sounds pretty darn special for a birthday celebration. And then getting to bring along friends. Your DD is a very lucky girl!

Here goes nothing- my daughter has asked to go to disneyland instead of a party for her 16th birthday, and we are allowing her to bring 2 friends. They are so excited they can hardly stand it- we live in Oregon and all of them have been to Disneyland when little, but not since. I am sure they have never heard of club 33, but I would love to do something really special for them, and having lunch or dinner there would be an event they would never forget. They are all wonderful girls, straight A students at an all girl catholic school, very involved in their communities.
If any member would offer to sponsor us for lunch (we would pay of course!) I would be the happiest mom in town. I can provide references, so you wouldn't have to worry about their behaviour or manners.
Thanks for listening-

Good Luck! :wizard: Let us know if you find a sponsor. Regardless if you get to eat at Club 33, you're taking your daughter to DL. I think that's pretty amazing.:cutie:
Just a quick question, have people actually been able to find Club 33 sponsors on these boards?
:confused3

I've never seen it happen, but maybe it has. If I only had a dollar for every time someone asks for a member to help them get in though! :lmao:

I doubt it happens very often since members are resonsible for their guests and their behavior. I know if I was a member I wouldn't be comfortable putting my membership on the line for strangers over the internet. :confused3 The member we know is VERY picky as to who he invites, and it isn't very many people!
