Club 33?

On our recent visit to Club 33, we picked up two different pins, one that was a traditional one, and one for the 40th anniversary. I also bought a polo shirt, but I have not convinced myself to wear it yet:rotfl2:

Are the pins $10 or $33 this year?

Good! I was hoping the available pin would be the $10 version! Thanks for the info!

Hi LillyBelle - HOW EXCITING!!!! Yep we are going this Sunday for dinner I believe. Do you have pictures??? I'd love to see them!!!! Did you spend the day in the parks? What did you wear? I think that's my biggest problem...I keep unpacking what I "thought" I was going to wear and re-packing something else!

All the pictures we took have my friend and my husband in them and they don't want me to post pictures of them on an internet board. I have to respect that. Yes we spent the day in the parks, but we went to lunch, which isn't as dressy as dinner. I wanted to dress up a little more, but it was raining on Sunday, so I wore jeans and a nice sweater and boots.

Here's some pictures we took if anyone is interested! We did lunch and it is casual. We were actually dressed nicer then some other guests (shorts ect..). Dinner I understand you must dress up a bit nicer.

They were nice enough to take a picture of us at our table! :)

I've got a ton more, I think I took pictures of EVERYTHING. LOL

I love reading about Club 33. It would be amazing to actually have the chance to visit. The video brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. Maybe one day......I'm a big believer in dreams coming true.;)

See if you can get a picture of the bird in the trophy room! There was a huge party in there when we went so DH got a blurry picture of it bounced off from a mirror. I so wanted a picture of it. Back in the day it had a working microphone in it, and they would listen to the guests and the bird would interact with everyone. So bummed I didn't get a good picture! Maybe this summer if were lucky enough to go back! :)

Absolutely - My pal SillyLittlePixie & I are both crazy scrapper women...so between the 2 of us I'm pretty sure they're won't be anything NOT photographed!!

The voices tell me so!:lmao:

My life long dream is coming true I get to go to Club 33!!!!!!! I cant tell you how excited I am and after watching that YouTube video Wow, I just cant wait. My question which is better lunch or dinner? I saw the lunch menue and pictures and everything looks delicious. The only dinner menue I have found is an old Vinters one. We love great food but are not the really fru fru types when it comes to most of the choices on that one. I am torn even tho this is a life long dream this is still costing alot of money so I want to enjoy the food as well as the location. My DH thinks that the atmoshere at night would be better but eating lobster at lunch pulls me there. I am almost positive that this will be a once in a lifetime experience so I want to get it right.
Anyone who has done both help please. I need to set the date ASAP.
Thanks

Wow this whole thread is a happy feel good kinda thing! I would love love love to be able to go to club 33 some time. I myself have kept an eye out for charity auctions and offerings of club 33 reservations in exchange for donations but none have sprung up in my neck of the woods as I am NorCal. I finally decided I would place myself on the waiting list only to be told it was 14 years long! WOW that must be some great food as well as the whole legend behind it. To all of you who have gone I envy you and am happy for you all at the same time! :thumbsup2

If you are able to do Sunday brunch, then that would be my suggestion. Mickey and Pluto were there on our recent visit, and its my understanding that brunch is the only time any characters are there. Because its an intimate setting, you really got a lot of time with them and everyone was taking pictures, etc. It really makes for a fun atmosphere, on top of being in such a great place. Anyway, thats my $.02.

Hello!!!

I am very sorry for my english!!!!!!
I am french and I will going to disneyland in august.
I make a dream than to go to make lunch or dinner in club 33.

Could you help me to know how could I do?????

I was able to go to Club 33 back in June of 2005. It was my 25th anniversary lunch for work. I was joined by my DH, DD, and my boss:mad: because that is the way ATT does anniversary parties. You have to have a boss there....:sad2:
We went on a Sunday for lunch. It was expensive but our lunch also included entrance into the park for the 4 of us as part of the lunch. ATT covered $200only, our bill was almost $300 for the 4 of us. So I guess we really had to pay for the boss to eat....but I guess if he had said he wouldn't drive the 460 one way miles I wouldn't have been able to go. He was my last choice and he said yes!!:worship: (the boss came in, ate lunch and went home without doing anything in the park:confused3 )
The food was great. Bad planning on our part because we had just gotten off the Disney Magic the day before so going to a buffet was not a big deal. But it was fun....
There were no pins at all. We were able to purchase a nice pen for DH. Baseball Club 33 t-shirts for me and DD and a very nice dress Tommy Bahama type shirt for DH. You can only purchase items if you are in there dining. You can't even come back the next day to see what they have. Some items were only available for members.
A co-worker went months later and there were no pins then either.
If I make it to 30 years I will do it again! (only get $200 again ) Or maybe I will have my retirement party there! (I would get $500 then, that should cover one more person....don't forget the boss!)
The picture a few posts back is the same table we sat at. Great view out the windows of the park.
If given the chance.....never pass it up.....

Unless you know someone who is a mamber who can make a reservation for you, you can't. You can't become a member either as there is like a 14 year waiting list.:scared1:

hello,
unfortunatly we don't know someone who is a member.
that's why I permit myself to put this message in this forum hoping that a
kind soul can help us.
We don't want especially eat, just want to enter into the lobby and in the shop to buy some goodies from the club33.
If some member could help us to realise our dream, it would be wonderful!!!!:wizard:

I believe they have a tour where you can get into the lobby, but that is it. Contact Disney directly and ask.

Here goes nothing- my daughter has asked to go to disneyland instead of a party for her 16th birthday, and we are allowing her to bring 2 friends. They are so excited they can hardly stand it- we live in Oregon and all of them have been to Disneyland when little, but not since. I am sure they have never heard of club 33, but I would love to do something really special for them, and having lunch or dinner there would be an event they would never forget. They are all wonderful girls, straight A students at an all girl catholic school, very involved in their communities.
If any member would offer to sponsor us for lunch (we would pay of course!) I would be the happiest mom in town. I can provide references, so you wouldn't have to worry about their behaviour or manners.
Thanks for listening-
