Hello everyone I'm new to the boards,
My question is have any of you had lunch or dinner at Club 33 in Disneyland? I was wondering just how good it really is. Are any of you members of the club? Is the membership worth the money? I'm just full of questions.

Not a member because I cannot afford it. My understanding is that individual memberships are available for a $7,500 membership fee and $2,250 annual dues. These memberships are nontransferable. Only you can decide if the membership to a private dining club is worth that much to you.

I have eaten there many times. Food is OK (Blue Bayou is about the same and sometimes better as they share a kitchen but do not have to bring the food upstairs). Service is variable. Sometimes I have had great experiences and some have been terrible. In my opinion, the only reason to go is to say you have been and to be able to order alcohol in the "dry" park.

As to whether membership is worth it, that really depends on what matters to you. It is thousands of dollars, but, if your prime goal is impressing your friends, it is certainly one way to do it. If you currently hold two premium annual passports to Disneyland, this will replace two of them. If you are willing to have dinner at Club 33 every time you take friends in to the park, or willing to trust that if you get them in to the park using your Club 33 reservations, they will actually eat there, you get tickets for up to 9 people for admission to the park, so that can certainly add up to the price of annual membership price.

I'm not a member. We do business with a member, and he made the reservations for us.

When I ate there the food was EXCELLENT! :thumbsup2

Service was EXCELLENT. :thumbsup2

It was not crowded when we were there; I think 2 other tables were occupied. If felt like there were 2 or 3 people assigned to just our table. My wife dropped her fork, and I swear she had another fork as soon a it hit the ground! We joked with the other couple we were with how low they would let the water get in our glasses before it was filled. We never got below 1/2 full.

I'd go back again and again without a doubt.

Welcome to the DIS!

There is so much information to find around here! There is actually a board specifically for Disneyland and this discussion comes up periodicaly. Or, there is a search feature (when it's working) that can lead you to all kinds of insights of Club 33. I took at Disneyland in June and they allowed us into the lobby area. It was breathtaking but probably not worth the money for a membership, not to mention the looooooonnnnngggg waiting list to get in!
