We have reservation at Club 33 on Tues July 28th at 7:30p for dinner.:yay::wizard::cool1::cloud9::rolleyes1

My question is, How long does dinner usually take? I heard that a great place to watch the fireworks was from the balcony at Club 33. Is that true and is it possible to strreeettch my dinner long enough to see them. The fireworks are at 9:25p that night.

Any other tips or cool things to look at from personal experiance regarding Club 33 would be much appreciated.

Oh yes! You can definitely stretch your dinner long enough. Consider going with "The Vintner" menu, which is their pre-set five-course meal and you will be there for at least two hours. Google "disneyland club 33 menu" for sample Vintner menus so you'll have an idea of what's served.

Have fun and don't be shy about taking pictures. :)

Me and the Mrs. are foodies and this is a anniversary, no kids, trip. We are doing Club 33 and Napa rose and I for one plan on doing the Vintner menu at both locations.

Thanks for the info. How's the view from the balcony for fireworks. This is our first trip to DL and I am not knowledgeable of the layout of DL too well.

I have never had luck watching the fireworks from the balcony. We are usually seated on the east side of the dining room and there's a great big tree that's smack dab in the middle of the view for both Fantasmic! and the fireworks. We sort of gave up on seeing either shows from up there. It is great to go out there, however, and take a gander below!

The second course on the Vintner's menu is a seared ahi tuna preparation. They were wonderful last week and just prepared that for my entree and I was VERY pleased.

We're usually there for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Enjoy your time!

Thank You so much M4travels.:worship:

Do you happen to have or know what the vintners menu was last week? I doubt it would change in 2 weeks. I have torn the internet apart looking for an up to date menu for club 33 and its like finding affordable healthcare...it doesn't exist.

Last summer I was fortunate enough to dine at Club 33 with friends
Our reservation was at 8 p.m. and we didn't leave until midnight! It was the best 4 hour dining experience  There wern't too many people dining and we enjoyed 2 Fantasmic shows during our time there.

Enjoy your special evening!:cloud9:

The vintner menus don't change that often. They are usually seasonal (though there was a time when one season seemed to last a very long time.........) so the same menu should be up when you're there.

I only remember 3 items on the Vintner's menu because I knew I wasn't getting it. The second course was the seared ahi tuna encrusted with sesame seed (both white and black if I recall correctly). The entree was a new york sirloin. The fourth course was a cheese course of either 4 or 5 cheeses. I don't remember the first course or the dessert except that for the dessert course they were serving Lillypilly, which I think can go with any dessert. I'm not usually an ice wine or late harvest drinker, but I do enjoy this one.

Hoping to be back there soon!

WTG OP! You will LOVE dinner there! We went last week and had a great time!

Here's your answers:

Fireworks: sorry to say, OP was right. View from balcony was not good. We don't remember even hearing the music! We were there through two showings of Fantasmic and while we couldn't see it, definitely heard that one!

How long: Three of the four of us had the Vintner's Menu and we were there 3 1/2 hours! The courses were salad, seared ahi, NY strip loin, cheeses, and some chocolate dessert. I didn't ask questions before I inhaled it. The place was empty when we finished and our server Jeff gave us a tour and we left at 11:45. We jumped on PotC for a ride and our party was given our own boat!

Here's some pics:

Just a tip for pics: it's very dim and I had a hard time getting anything without my flash. So I limited pictures so as not to disturb everyone....

Have FUN and relish in the opportunity! Raise a glass to the person who got you the reservation (if you're not the member.....)

Thanks everyone for the info.

We are VERY exited. I think we are just as excited about this one dinner as the entire trip.

I think we are going to simply enjoy the ambiance of the balcony and not expect to much for the fireworks. I am imagining a nice stiff beverage in my hand "soaking" in pure Disney magic.

jpeka65844, Thanks for the tips on photos. I do a good bit of professional photography so I will bring the appropriate equipment. Thanks

I'm trying to think of something to do for my DW since this is a 10yr anniversary trip. If I can swing a nice new piece of jewelry I might re-propose on the balcony.:lovestruc:hug:

OT - Denice, glad you had a great time. We were there the same evening as you but about 45 minutes earlier, I think. It was a GREAT night at the club.

Ha ha...do you remember us? :-) We were the rowdy ones in the corner by the fire exit. :rotfl:

It was all around a magical evening. Disney Heaven.

FYI: The last time we were at C33, I purchased a pretty silver chain bracelet that came with a circular-shaped charm with the C33 logo engraved into it. The charm was a pretty nice size (a tad bigger than a nickel). There's also room on the back for more engraving if one wanted to make it more personalized. It may not be what you were thinking of getting, but in case they still have them, that would be a really nice souvenir for your DW, in addition to the other piece of jewelry you'll be giving. :)

Edited to add: Just checked Ebay and someone is selling the bracelet. Type in "club 33 bracelet" and you'll be able to see the posting. HTH!

Can you tell me how much the bracelet was? Sounds super cute!!!! I will be there as a first time diner in late July for my birthday.......cannot wait! Sounds like the perfect souvenir to remember the day!!!! Thank you!!!

I agree.....I was super disappointed that there were no pins. I wonder if you can call and get them somehow. I should've asked that night when he told me they were out.....

Myself and the DW are both really big pin collectors so that would not be good at all if they were out of pins.

Maybe they were just out of the old ones and awaiting shipment on a new design.:wizard:

I don't believe they had pins either when we were there, both times. I was super happy last time that I got the Mickey ears though! I also have a wine glass, two mugs (gift from the member) and a key chain though. :) I raid the cabinet when we've gone. LOL

The bracelet wasn't as expensive as my DH and I thought it would be. Can't recall the exact price, but it didn't cost more than $50.00. :)
