DE-LISH-US meal! We had the chauterbriand - so tender. But of course, we had the cold buffet first. And the desserts were yummy! We went today for lunch (Valentine's Day). We bought champagne flutes and a coupla pins. It's one of those things we had always wanted to do.

Congrats! Club 33 on Valentine's Day...wow!

Still on my bucket list. My husband has been digging at work trying to find a connection for our 15th wedding trip in April. :goodvibes

How does one get into Club 33? Can anyone share the secret handshake? I would like to suprize my hubby with this in August when we go. We are HUGE Disney Wolrd fans....but I am clueless about DL!!!

6 degrees of seperation...you have to know someone who knows someone who knows someone who is a Club 33 member.

Bring your check-book,wait 'quite' awhile and totally forget about it. :sad1:

Congrats! Such a special place for Valentine's Day!

Can I ask a totally selfish question? Did you happen to see any bracelets or other jewelry for sale in the Club 33 case? I will be there in less than two weeks and have always wanted a jewelry piece, but they always seem to be out when I have gone. Thanks so much and Happy Valentine's Day! :lovestruc

I am adoptable to any Club 33 members!!! And I have a check book! :rotfl2:

I've been lucky enough to dine there once. It was super amazing. I want to go again! I loved the cold buffet and dessert buffet

Definitely on my bucket list...we dont know anyone that knows anyone....just hoping some day we win some contest. :thumbsup2

Is it true that they make members pay for their meals even though they're already paying a gargantuan yearly fee for membership? If that's the case, I fail to see the upside to the deal.

What a magical Valentines Day. So happy for you both, but I have to say I'm a little bit jealous.

I was there on Chinese New Years about two weeks ago for dinner. At that time they had a charm bracelet--I think it was about $60. They also had the gold club member rings $895. I am pretty sure that was the only jewelry.

I picked up a pin for a (crazy Disney fan) friend and a coffee cup for my husband who was with me.

Members have to pay for their meals. Guests of members have to pay for their meals. When you dine at Club 33 included in your meal is admission to the Park.

As for the "upside of the deal"... it is an exclusive member only club with a waiting list so long that they no longer even mail out applications to get on the waiting list, so I guess it's a matter of simply being able to go to an exclusive place - and bring friends along too.

Since we are not based in CA, we found the meal to be a total deal. Our total for dinner including a healthy 25+% tip and was $210 (I am pregnant so no bar bill for me--I should have kept my receipt the $2.25 charge for my milk was funny). Since the meal included two one day park hoppers for my husband and I, which are $101 per person--we essentially paid $8 to eat three courses. Can't eat fast food for that price. :thumbsup2

Now let me say this--and you can all disagree if you would like. The food was good, but it was far from the best meal I have ever had (we are completely spoiled living in Chicago, and in the past having had healthy expense accounts to entertain clients). The allure of the club was the exclusivity; and the fact that you can't just get it. We enjoyed the meal, our servers were excellent, but it was really about the environment and marking it off our bucket list. Heck just having "the special" door open for us and being welcomed in was more of a thrill than "the meal".

Now that we have had the experience, I can honestly say I would not go out of my way to do so again. If I am going to be in CA and we are offered another reservation, I would probably go for a weekend brunch to see the difference; but no longer do I feel the need to seek out a reservation. **I know easier said, once it has been done; but honestly it is over hyped.

Club 33 had always been on my bucket list and thanks to friends I was finally able to go last December. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was fantastic as was the atmosphere.

We visited the club last August, which was fantastic. Our server was Louis and the service was over the top. This has been a goal of mine since the club open and I just so happened to be blessed by an individual who made it happen.
Even though I am getting older, I still think I am young at heart and dreams do come true!
