Hello there!

I am a lifelong Disneyland fan and patron, and I am taking a vacation to the park with my Dad for the first time in 20 or so years (we have both been there many times since, but have not gotten together for the trip).

Is there a Club 33 member out there who would be willing to list myself and my father as guests, so I could take him to lunch there?

I am a non-drinker, a truly honest and upstanding person, and a 3.9 GPA student who is following his father's footsteps into the medical profession. I am 37, and he is 68. My father is an MD, a surgeon, and opened and ran a VA clinic for many years to serve the veterans of the United States Armed Forces. He opened his clinic in Humboldt County, CA so that the veterans there would not have to drive all the way from Eureka, CA to San Francisco (6 hours!) just to get health care, because HE cared. He gave more care to more people for less money for more years than anyone I know, and he is a true hero in my book, and thousands of patients' books, as well. He finally retired at the age of 67 about 8 months ago, and I think that his seeing just about the only part of the park that he hasn't seen in all of its stages of change would be amazing. He has been going to Disneyland since 1957, and has never been into Club 33.

If you are a member of Club 33, and would like to do something very nice for a real hero (my dad, not me lol!), then please contact me. Just shoot me a private message.

Thanks!

Hans Wagner

I am not a member of club 33, but I saw an auction on ebay for entrance into club 33 for up to 6 guests just a week or so ago. Keep checking there, because you never know if someone will list an ebay auction for it again...
That is a really nice thing to do for your dad. Good luck!

What an AWESOME idea!!! I actually had not thought of that... I am checking right now, will report back on that.

That is really the best idea ever... Thank you so much!!!!

has anyone purchased an ebay auction for Club 33 before? Seems like a good idea. Is there any way to make sure it is legit?

I brouse ebay for club 33 items periodically, and the only time I have ever seen a Club 33 reservation, it was being auctioned off by someone who had won it in a charity event. I would guess that if a member ever got caught trying to auction off reservations, they would soon be a former member. Not being a member, I certainly don't know the policies, but I am under the impression that members are strongly discouraged from making reservations for strangers. But it sure doesn't hurt tryin'.

Ya, that is what I figured as well!

I have doing the ebay looking thing for month's now on a daily basis and must have missed the auction. My GF and I have been together for 25 years and this was what she had asked for.
I do understand that members are not going to list people they do not know as guest, just for that reason, they do not know you.

Best of luck.

I have never seen a reservation offered on Ebay, but I have seen it as a package at a charity event, so you may want to be on the lookout that way. However, these do go for big bucks. I had planned on bidding on one at an event I was going to and knew ahead of time it was being offered, and it went out of my price range quick. The value of the package was $6,000 but it ended up selling for $10,000!! I was so sad, but in the end I got very lucky:banana: , as the man who had donated the package heard what a fan I was and made reservations for me to go. Good luck! If I hear of any opportunities like that I'll post it here.

Im sorry to disappoint all of you but ebay stopped allowing the auctions for club 33 awhile ago....
