I imagine they look at the key things:

-If you've ever done boy girl things
-If you've ever done mommy baby things
-If you've ever been reported/temp. ban
-How you treat and respond to others

If you've done any of the first 3 count yourself out, and if you loose your temper also count yourself out.

If you are under 13 they make you provide a parent's e-mail address where I believe they send extra questions to the parents. That's what I've heard because if you're under 13 you're still very young.

i Just tried to become a community leader too. I hope I get in.

I just talked to people on VMK, about 300 or more people just applied today with the same hopes as all of us. Plus all the hundreds from last time. So I'm telling everyone to not get their hopes up what so ever. They are only picking 1-3 Community Leaders out of most likely 600 who applied. The chance of anyone winning is 5%.

The chance of anyone winning is 5%.

Applying to be a community leader is not a contest. So no one really "wins." This is what is seems like with some people, that it is some sort of competition to "win" being a communtiy leader. I know not everyone is like that and hope that most people are not applying because they feel as if they will "win."

I did not meant it as a competition, I ment it as only 1.18% of us will make being a community leader. We all have a 5% chance of being PICKed, of our applications being accepted.

Another CL point of view. I applied to be a CL back in July and was told to wait a while. So when I reapplied, also in July, I was accepted. It took about 2 weeks to get approved as a CL. Why did I want to be a CL? Because I was already doing the job, why not have the title? It's not easy to be a CL all the time. There are many times you are bombarded with questions and trade requests are never ending. The begging is so rampant that you can't get away from it these days! I don't know where it comes from, but CL's are always asked what free stuff they got for getting accepted. Let me tell you now, we get nothing special. Just the badge and the CL_ in our titles. You don't get any pins or credits. You aren't automatically added to staff friend lists. That you will have to earn by becoming their friend. You will be followed everywhere you go...which can be both good and bad. If and when your friends list becomes full and you must delete someone to add another, you will be confronted about it in a very public way. Some of the questions you answer will be asked repeatedly in the same room. Be prepared to know the basics on how to play all of the mini-games and staff room games. Most importantly, if you don't know the answer, don't get flustered! Refer them to the main page and the location of the answer to their question. Remember, you can't know everything about everything! It can be very rewarding to be a CL, but it all comes down to being nice to everyone and trying to follow the rules and values established by vmk.

I just noticed something funny lol. The thread is titled "CL's come chat here" and if you look at the poll, most of the people are not community leaders! lol. Isn't it ironic how someone could post a thread telling a certain group of people to talk and the exact opposit are attracted lol!!!!!

I don't mean that non-cl's should not read this LOL Heck No!! LOL because they are the ones who will get the most out of this thread lol. I just thought it was an interesting observation.

Not entirely true, A couple of CL's were saying they got rewards for the halloween event. Then again, it was a leota pin.

No one answer that. It's against application rules to answer that. It clearly states on the application not to give out or ask any of the questions.

You applied to be a community leader???? If you are going to be a community leader step number one is DO NOT go against the rules. I am sorry, but I hope more people applying to be CL's are not people who bluntly break the rules.

Kimwithron, just FYI, the email you received from VMK specifically stated that the questions were not supposed to be posted on fan sites.
