I have never ever been over to the boardwalk area. I really want to get over there seeing as how I'd love to stay there someday. I need to go scout around.

How about when you are at Epcot just walking out the private entrance and enjoying the boardwalk area? Then you can head back in and continue around the direction of France?

10 and 1/2 you only have 10 and 1/2 that's not fair...okay let me count now...13 days plus three 1/2 days so that is 14 and 1/2 days....I want to be done in 10 LOL!!!

Now we have 8 1/2 student days. If we can be ready to go that afternoon after the kids leave we don't have to come in that last work day!
The PT was better, I only had a few rough moments...

OMG I cannot believe you people are out of school BEFORE Memorial day. SIGH. I still have a month! Well it will come I know. Getting excited for you anyhow, that helps the time to pass!!! Cannot wait to hear all about the cruise for you! You will love it.

We are barely out before Memorial Day, usually a week earlier. That extra week it giving us fits this year!
I don't even think the cruise has sunk in yet.
I have yet to make an appointment at the tanning salon.

That is an incredible salad! I think they will love it!

I can so relate to that. Those little things we take for granted every day really hit home when we are injured. I really learned to appreciate the handicapped bars in bathroom stalls after my knee surgery. I would have been in a real predicament without them. Just putting on clothes becomes a challenge when your body parts aren't working correctly. It gave me a new awareness of those who have to deal with physical deficits.

Everyday I can move more but unfortunately, I have more aches and pains at the moment.
I know the therapy is worth it but gosh, I'm way too old for this!

Can't wait to be there in 9 days!

After our breakfast we were ready for a quiet morning at Epcot so we headed over to the private entrance and turned in the direction of France.
Just next to Chefs there is a play area set up for F&G
Here are children at play...

Then we walked on for more F&G.

This is an outdoor cooking area that would make meal prep fun!

We made our way beyond the backyard oasis...
I do wish I could have that kitchen out back.
Oh well, maybe someday!

In Morocco we saw the Aladdin topiary

and his magic carpet!

In China we found this to be so very unique!

The hollyhocks in Norway were such a pretty color of red.

Princess Tiana had her Bayou wedding place set up!

As we walked over towards the land to use one of our anytime fast passes from DVC for Soarin' Shocker was thrilled to see one of his favorite villans on her way in from a meet and greet...

After Soarin' we made our way back toward the private entrance past this play area set up for F&G.

We were on our way to another park....
Did I mention it was St. Patrick's Day?
We were up to something....

Anita, I was all set to comment on how lovely the flowers and plants looked! I just adored the Aladdin topiary and the magic carpet! The Tiana Wedding pavillion sounded like a lot of fun.....and then....you showed her....the most amazing villain of all time...Malificent...SHE DOES MEET AND GREETS....not just in the month of October!!! THat is amazing!! What a shot, she just radiates evil LOL!!!!

Great update!!! I can't believe you're down to 8.5 days...I'm down to 11.5...but I can do it...I will make it LOL!

I was born in the Year of the Tiger. Apparently, I missed my calling as a matador. Although, I do have to say that with a week left of school, I do feel a bit like I spend the majority of my day keeping bulls from stampeding all over the place.

What could you have been up to...

I can't believe you got to see Maleficent!! That's really cool. She looks so real and scary! Especially since I just finished reading all 3 Kingdom Keeper books. Ben would love to have a meet and greet with her!

The flowers and topiaries are gorgeous! I just planted some African daisies in my flower garden. I hope they get as big and beautiful as the ones in your picture! Awesome pic of Maleficient!!! I would love to see her in a park and have my picture taken with her.

What did you think about the Princess and the Frog Bayou section??
I heard Pete and them on the podcast saying that they were not impressed and didn't like that they used cardboard cutouts etc. Just curious of your impressions.

We next ventured into the fairy garden. The CM in there was having quite a time trying to keep the strollers out of the area.
Yes there was a sign but the guests were not paying any attention and the CM was distressed because her supervisor was standing nearby observing...
I was sure to go over and compliment the CM's friendliness and helpfulness to the supervisor!

Malificent was right behind Inovations West we were quite surprised to see her out there...
I got lucky with that shot, she was just walking past us when I took it!
Just Wednesday afternoon, my teammates and I finished up our planning for the year.
Charlotte's Web is taking most of our time.
We continue to teach math, but aside from that we are teaching the novel and filling the day with activities to do with the book and spiders...
It really is fun!

11.5 really isn't so bad...

I have a dining area that is kind of like the one in the picture but no kitchen...

I wish we would have been just a little earlier and we could have gotten in line for a picture with her.
She had just finished up.
No flowers for me until we get back from the June trip.
I'll plant them when we get back and then have a friend come over and water and use the pool when we are gone in July.
That sounds like a fair trade off to me!

It's hard to walk through that outdoor living section and not want to have that in your yard. There was also an area for sitting and reading but there was a lady sitting and reading....
I didn't want to take her picture and she wasn't getting up and moving.
I think this might have been the first time we saw Maleficent out and about.

I was disappointed with the bayou section. They could have done so much more than put up the cutouts.
Why not some topiaries?
It' Disney, it' supposed to be magical, awesome, spectacular.
Not mediocre.

I thought Malificent's chin looked like the Wicked Witch of the West's from the Wizard of Oz.

It was so much cooler in March.
