Okay, well there is still some sliver of a possibility then! The owner we have rented from is super nice, and she said something similar, so I guess she'll let us know!

I keep wondering if I should forgo Vero and see if BW is still available.. It was then, but probably not now... I think we should just stick with Vero..

If you think you want to stay at Disney check on Boardwalk, you will have a great time over there....
I think Vero would be fun too though!

FYI to all though (and then off to catch up) there is a cheap imitation CHI at Sally Beauty (if you have those) that works really REALLY well. Both Kendall and I are happy with it and while my hair is stick straight naturally, she's got a ton of thick wavy hair....

Our first morning to awake at Boardwalk was a bright and shiny day. I had been looking forward to walking to Beach Club for a yogurt parfait so after getting ready for the day off we went.
There was a stairway just next to our door so we walked down.
Just outside the door of the resort we looked up to see this guy.

On our way into the Beach Club we walked past the large butterfly.

We ate our breakfasts out on a patio next to Storm Along Bay before catching the bus over to Animal Kingdom.
This is when we left Beach Club...
As you can see we didn't get a very early start. Good thing we didn't have our hearts set on riding any rides....

Just as we got off the bus at Animal Kingdom we saw this van come driving by, you know in the area where there is only Disney transportation? I think they must have made a wrong turn somewhere.....

Anywho, this is them after they turned around and were hightailing it out of there.....

If anyone asks, I'm laughing with them.....

The park was packed, shoulder to shoulder packed.
Our initial thought was to make our way to EE and get fast passes.
So off we went.
We were behind a group of teen boys that were going for EE as well.
They were discussing the crowds.
One said that there was going to be a line.
They were going to have quite a wait.
Probably 20 minutes.....
I about choked.
It was 80 minutes.
Fast Passes were gone.
No big deal.
We had other hopes for our day at Animal Kingdom
We were there for Animals.
The weather was nice and cool and we were hoping they would be awake.

Oh this was our first stop, I know, the baby we were searching for wasn't to be found here...

Guess which way we went?

Yes, we like bats. I adore the book Stellaluna!

Then we saw tigers, one sleepy on the ledge...

one strolling around,

another napping in the sun.

Tigers are my school mascot so we posted this on facebook.

I really wanted an orange to fall off of the tree and into my hand.....

Don't know what these are but we saw them....

Shocker offered to purchase a new set of Disney cookware for me!

On our way out we visited the birds and saw this pretty guy.

Then we went in search of Nemo!

I love this area, especially when we get lucky enough to see the tigers at play! I think we texted back and forth that morning as you were on your way to get a yogurt parfait. I was jealous.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Now you know that is SO not true, just because there isn't a drive through at the Beach Club to get one doesn't mean you gotta be down on the parfait's Shocker!!!! WIGD knew what she was talking about when she gave me that tip! I can't wait! SOOOOO good!!!!

WIGD I was really glad to see your update, I was thinking to myself how MEMOM was oh 20 pages into a TR that was started FOUR days ago, and well.... updates?? Hmmmmm.... But I am glad you got that parfait, they are delightful I loved them and cant wait to have another this June!!! or two or three! AND great leisurely day to the AK, there are lots of things to see there in that park, I agree! Looking forward to more pics! BATS creep me out!

I have not tried the yogurt parfait at Beach Club. I will be putting that on my list for October! Thanks for only including one bat photo! The tigers are my favorites... they look so cute and cuddly!

Hooray for an update... and to the FPs being gone for EE. Even our summer day that had FPs left mid day, because we got a second set.

Great update! I love the pictures of the bat and tigers as we missed those on this last trip.

It must be an AK day as your update, MeMom's, and mine all had AK! I love to see things from other's perspectives and catch glimpses of things we missed.

We had the same bad luck with EE. All the fastpasses were gone by the time we got there. Boo!
