Clothings/Shoe sizes please

Hi can anyone help me, I need a size convertor for clothes and shoes for ladies.

or if you know what these sizes are:

Shoes UK
5 and 6

Clothes UK
10 and 12

Can anyone help please

This should be right as it usually works for me and it is go up a size for shoes I am an 8 here for trainers yet but 9 in the US. Go down two or possibly even three sizes for clothes! I remember in 1998 I bought a size 6 dress and I am normally a 10 or 12 over here.

Hi Tracey

I have a conversion chart in a diary and it says the following:

Female Shoes

UK 5 = US 6 1/2
UK 6 = US 7 1/2

Female Dress

UK 10 = US 8
UK 12 = US 10

it was the shoes i was most confused with. When I am away i kind of take pot luck!!!! I want to order some of the net so i have to be sure.
