Honestly, I don't know about your grandmother, but I know that I would rather see just about anything else!

I have given this advice on another "What to wear" thread for any woman (cause guys don't worry about this stuff) who is trying to decide what clothing to take to Disney.

1. Put on outfit and stand facing a full length mirror.
2. While standing in front of the mirror turn until your back is facing it.
3. Bend over and look between your legs at your reflection in the mirror.

THIS is what EVERYONE is going to see when you bend over.

This is what everyone sitting in the rows behind you on "It's a Small World" will see when you attempt to sit down with four kids, one diaper bag, six Disney shopping bags, three flat sodas, and several containers of popcorn and cotten candy.

This is what everyone will see when you bend over and attempt to calm a screaming and thrashing child while he/she is trying to escape the stroller.

This is what everyone will see when you bend over to pick up pacifiers and toys dropped by that same child.

Just like white can go see-thru when wet, I bet there are a lot of women out there who don't realize those cute shorts or pants that look good while standing straight can go see-thru when stretched across a bent over rear end.

And sometimes you don't even need to bend over in order for the entire world to be able to tell that you're wearing a little, lacy thong.

Seriously, I was at Disneyland Paris back in April and walking out of the Stunt Show, 12 year old girl in front of me wearing the low cut pants and the crop top and we could clearly see her tiny yellow thong. It was nice of her to match it to the crop top, but I still didn't want to see it. Neither did my husband or 11 year old niece.

Basically I think everyone should do a 360 in the mirror before leaving the house. Underwear is underwear because you're supposed to wear it UNDER your clothes...which means the rest of us aren't supposed to see it.

Never ever wear white pants, shorts, etc. Always wear a white T-Shirt.

The moment my DMIL pulls out her luggage for a trip south or even to California, she puts in her White pants!! She is 83 years young and I figure if she can do it, so can I!! Go ahead and wear the whites, provided you are like her and can make sauce in white pants and never spill on them!! She is truely amazing!! Can you tell, I love her to death!!

Not only do they wear white, they wear mouse ears that have big red bows with white polka-dots. They wear hats about a foot tall shaped like Cinderella Castle. They wear giant white mouse gloves, and big yellow (Mickey-shaped) slippers. And these are grown-up (and sometimes even old) women.

You will absolutely not stand out in white. And I can't imagine that anyone takes time out of their fun to look around to see what other people are wearing! Except me. If I see you wearing white, I'm calling the fashion police to have you escorted out of the park.

I have never cared about that no white after Labor Day thing and frankly, I don't think anybody would condemn you for it. Sweetie, wear what you want...it is your trip.

PS - I live in the South - Texas to be exact. Born and raised here, I don't know a single person on a personal level who gives thought to the fashion police and the white rule.

With what some people wear to the parks (and everywhere else), exposed thongs, bikini tops, micro short shorts, etc, I doubt anyone will notice anyone wearing white much less think it's a faux pas. I'm from the south and have lived in the north and pretty much the only ones that follow that rule today are over 60 and were raised that it's a "sin" to wear white before Memorial Day and After Labor Day. It's just another color. You know, someone just made up that rule years ago. It doesn't mean anything.

I once wore a mostly white outfit at Cedar Point. When I bent over to pick somethig up, a seagull flew by and pooped on the back of my shorts. It was really gross and a whole lot of it I did not have a change of clothes, so I went in the restroom the wipe off as much as I could. Of course it looked even worse after that. It looked like I pooped on myself so I had to wear my jacket around my waist for the rest of the day! I still wear white regardless of the time of year but now when I got to amusement parks and wear white, I make sure I have a change of clothes with me.
