Some people use them to close the curtains in their rooms. They pinch the curtains together to keep that little bit of light that seems to get through and wake you up, or keep you awake. Others use them in conjunction with hangers in the room to dry their swimsuits. Hang your swimsuit on the hanger, then place the hanger over the shower. Or any other wet clothes you may have. These are the 2 main uses I've seen on these forums.

I panited some and put magnetic strips to use on the door for notes form other DISers.

I use them to keep bags of chips closed.
