Clothes shopping for kids -budget stores

Surprised nobody mentioned Sears. And don't forget to use the KidVantage Card there. I find great deals there all the time in kids clothing! Ultimately I am a yard sale shopper...but when I have to pay retail for kids clothing, I head to Sears.

JC Penney (but only when there's a big sale and they have the $10 or $25 off coupon!)

Children's Place (from infants to size 14 but more like size 12 since they cut the clothing smaller for some reason) Children's place is excellent when they have sales and you have a coupon. I walked out of there one time with 2 huge, huge bags of clothing for less than $100. Sign up on their site and they'll mail you coupons.

Justice - but ONLY with a coupon and be sure to check their clearance racks. Sign up at their site for coupons

Aeropostale - check out their clearance rack first. Make sure you sign up for their alerts also.

Macys. On sale, generally some sort of coupon from the paper/flyer. I've bought fancy dresses for less than $10. Shirts, jeans you name it. Look only at the sale racks and ask the cashier if there are any additional discounts. Great quality, great prices.
Aeropostale has great sales, too. Sign up for their emails and you will get advance notice. I bought jeans, t shirts, sweats etc...nothing over $15 or so.

I second Macy's, I find some great deals there with sales
also Kohls, Old Navy, Target, and Sears/Lands End mark downs.

On our way home from SC, we stopped in VA where they had a "Deb" shop. We found a decent selection in the sale racks. (I looked on the website and they do have some stores in MI, don't know if they're near you at all). My dd also found online "all-shirts-5.99" store (I think shipping was 4.99 but free return shipping). Some people don't like to shop online but my dd does because no one else will have her clothes.
