Clothes or gift cards?

If you asked for clothes for Christmas, would you rathar have your parents buy the actual clothes, or just get a giftcard?

Same with shoes.

Well like sweatshirts and t-shirts I'd want to get the actual clothes. But for everything else, I'm really picky about what I wear so I'd want a gift card so I can pick it out.

Hmm.
I don't like getting gift cards, but I also- nothing against my parents, I love them to death- don't trust their sense of style.
Which is why I usually don't ask for shoes/clothes.

But if I had to choose, the actual shoes/clothes.
Because I love opening things :]
And if I didn't like it, I could always return it.

Clothes. My mom knows what I like and I think she does a good job picking them out. But I do like giftcards too.

Well I like getting clothes as gifts if I get to pick them out. But other than that I prefer giftcards so I can pick out my own clothes.

I like getting the actual clothes. But I don't trust my mom's fashion sense, so I go and show her exactly what I want, so I pretty much know what I'm getting.

I don't 100% trust that my mom knows what I like to wear, and if she buys me something I don't like I'd feel to guilty telling her I wanted to exchange it. I'm feeling all guilty just thinking about it!

Anyway, I'm on the edge of what to ask for. This weekend I'm taking my mom to my favorite stores in the mall and showing her things I like, and what sizes to buy, etc. Then hopefully she'll just go later and get those things, or things similiar to that.

My mom can barely find me anything when I'm with her let alone when she has to pick it out herself.
I always have to try things on.

Shoes are easier to get, along with pjs.
