Clothes for 7 day cruise

I am trying to figure out how much dressy clothes I should pack for our 7 day cruise. We have the casual clothes covered but did not know how many formal, semi formal nights there are.

we had one semi-formal and one formal night on our 7 night eastern. i packed one foo-foo dress and one semi-formal. my husband wore his tux both times.

I packed a different dress for each night. I am not going to do that this time. I overpacked. I will wear my sexy black dress with different accessories that will save room for onboard/shore excursion purchases.
