We're considering a trip the end of March and I noticed that several closures are ending the last day we planned to be there, April 2. Will it be busier that day because of the re-openings? There are several re-openings that day. I'd rather miss a couple of rides than fight crowds for them so if it's going to be really busy we'll switch things around and have our last day the day before.

It will busy regardless! That is prime Spring Break time! Easter is the 27th of March so the week before and after will be very very busy!

I'd keep the dates you have set. On the last day be there for RD and enjoy the rides that re-open.
April 2nd is a Saturday and 3 of the AP's categories are blocked. It might not be as bad as you think.

Disneyland these days is always busy. The best thing you can do is get there early and have a plan. Touring plans is the best. We've gone on busy days before and thanks to being there right at opening and having a good plan, we've been able to ride everything we want by noon.

I think those ending closure dates are only rumors at this point. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think those ending dates are official from Disney yet.

I thought some dates might change too. Disney doesn't release official dates until long after I plan. This trip is still tentative though.
