After my friend left on Sunday, I thought I would go see a movie. The new Nicholas Cage Disney movie was my chioce, but I had some time to kill. The "Wine Cellar" over by the "Lost Bar' was my destination. I love this place. You can grab a great glass of wine and a tapas sized snack (not to mention free snacks, like cheese and crackers and usually some fruit). I sat down in the peaceful atmosphere, only to find out that they are closing. The new pool expansion is taking them over. I have always been the one to scream and kick when old landmarks are destroyeed for the new. But, then I always like the new. So, this time I want to give you all a chance to say good bye before your new place arrives. The Wine Cellar will be serving there last customers on 07-25-10.

Awwwww, heck. I hate to see that they're closing!! I'm still unsure how I feel about the pool expansion (I'm fine with the current pool and am sad that the waterfalls and koi ponds will have to go). I do like the concept of the new pool, but I'm also skeptical about the odds of it improving the hotel. This news doesn't decrease my skepticism any.

aww dont cry!! you can still enjoy the nice lpunge inside GCH-they serve bar snacks now! and if you have a pass there is the wine bar at DCA and various other bar type places in downtown disney.....but hmm i wil have to check out the lost bar on saturday 7/24 before it's completely "lost"...anybody want to join?


btw. what hotel is lost bar in? lol..

took these this weekend, they will be removing them....so sad, it's soo pretty.. anyhow though i'd post some pics so we can reflect on how gorgeous the area was!!
