What is the standard wait time right now to receive points once your membership is activated and shows up?
 

I received the activation email today, but not the club id yet so I can't activate yet. How long does it take to get club id email after activation email?

For my first resale contract I received the one email around like noon and then the club ID email 7pm that night. Fingers crossed it is that easy and quick for you too!!

Alright guys, maybe you can help me out with this one, but my membership has been activated and I received my club id, yay! I can see my dashboard and contract, So now I just need the points loaded! I chatted with Disney and they said they can't load them yet because the transfer isn't complete yet.

I am confused, the membership is already activated and all of the deed info was sent electronically to Disney by the title company, yet they say they're still waiting for information to be able to load the points and I may have to contact my resale agent? They're making it seem like the sellers possibly haven't provided the agent with proof of how many points there were in their account, is this normal? What do i have to do now geez so dang frustrating 😪

Its completely normal for them not to be able to load them the same day as the emails go out, even for when people chat and get it done, it is never the same day, its always the next day or sometimes much later. If you need to buy direct and get member pricing since I gather thats how you got it processed quicker than others, then all you need is membership number not points loaded.

Yes that is why, they just sent club id, guide is out of office, i thougnt it needed to be fully activated, will contact him tomorrow, thanks!

Disney doesnt need anyone to provide proof of anything.. they know exactly what is in the account and needs to be loaded.

You just have to be patient.

Yeah I'm not sure why the members service agent told me that, it freaked me out, but i called back and a manager told me what you said that I can purchase direct now and that they are just waiting for a transfer link, no issue
 
Why does the temporary dvc membership card they give you say "you can enjoy pool hopping" didn't they end that? 🤣🤣
