I have been watching the people floating in the air. They are making it look soooo easy and its not. I have actually done that. It was in an enclosed room but none the less so cool. I did it in Vegas and once you get it mastered its soooo neat just to float in the air.

You know, I think I would like to see more of what Canada is doing other than Avril singing!

"Well done Canada!" Is what they said. How would we know? It was one big concert for Avril. Not that I dislike her, But I would like to see more!

The whole "GoldenPalace" crasher schtick is getting pretty old.

I agree about the Avril thing, "Get the tart off the screen!" I wanted to see what was going on behind her!

The "air riders" were cool, seeing the Vancouver mayor take the flag was neat.

Our son thinks he's going to the next Olympics as a speed skater.

Only problems are:
He can't skate, and
he's as slow as molasses.



On another note, did anyone see the mayor of Vancouver, Sam Sullivan, WAVE that Olympic flag from his wheelchair? He's been a quadriparetic since a skiing accident at age 19. It is tradition for the outgoing mayor to pass the flag to the receiving mayor, and the new mayor to wave it 8 times. They offered to have someone wave it for Mayor Sullivan, but he would have none of that.

What a stirring moment!!
