Closing Date

Has anyone ever had the closing date listed on their contract come and go? We are down to 4 buisness days to the date listed on our contract. I was told over 2 weeks ago that they were going to rush the closing to meet this date. Still being told they are waiting on Disney.

I am a day post my closing now. I was supposed to close by 10/11/07 per our contract, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm going through TSS and they told me that Disney is really backed up right now. Don't know what that legally means.

Yup. We finally closed about 3 and a half weeks after our scheduled closing date. I was told that 2 things happened: Disney was backed up with their paperwork, and the sellers were having trouble getting the paperwork sent in. Luckily it all worked out - we finally closed and got a ressie at BCV for spring break less than 7 months out.
