You will want to post on the transportation board. They have a geat deal of info on taxi calculators and experts that know what is located near the resort, if you cannot find it on google.

There's a Walmart right near Osceola Parkway:

Kissimmee, FL 34746

According to mapquest, it's about 6 miles.

We paid $21 to get from the Boardwalk to our offsite hotel (car broke down, long story). And our hotel was not as far down as the Wal Mart. So budget at least $50 for that trip if you are lucky and don't get into delays for traffic lights.

If you need something it might be worth it to rent a car. After our little adventure, we had to rent a car for one day. Cost of $30 from Enterprise and they picked us up. There's also rental cars at the Dolphin.

But not sure what is so important to go through all that.

You might look into taking the resort bus to DTD then getting a taxi from there to the Walmart on Turkey Lake Road. The mears taxi website will let you find out the taxi fare ahead of time - just enter your departure and arrival information.
