Closest tower to monorail

I tried a search but nothing came up - I can't believe I'm the first to ask this

Which DLH tower is the closest walking distance to the monorail? We're staying there in December and we have a little one so at the end of a long night even five more minutes of carrying him makes a big difference. Since we'll probably be using the monorail, except for first entry in the AM we'd like to try and get the closest tower possible. We booked a standard room, does this have any bearing on which tower we'll be in?

Dreams is the closest tower to DTD/monorail, but (a) they have limited standard rooms and (b) they are in the process of refurbishing that tower and I think I read that it will be closed in Dec. Not sure about that--you can do a search of recent posts and see if you can find that info.

The second closest is Magic (lobby). It's not a whole lot farther than Dreams, but it's so nice when staying in Dreams to just exit out the DTD side and you're there.

I'd try to avoid Wonder in your situation.

Along the same note, which tower has the best view(s) and what do you see?

Thank you DizMe! Exactly what I was looking for. We'll be checking in around 7AM so hopefully that will give us a slight advantage. I'll call now and have them note on my reservation, any tower but Wonder. Thanks again.
