Closest supermarkets to Poinciana Boulevard

Can anyone give me the locations of the closest Publix and Albertsons? I <i>think</i> I know, but I just want to be sure.

From Cumbrian Lakes you have two choices...either the 192 tourist area or the 17/92 local area !

Come out of Cumbrian Lakes and turn left ...go to 1st set of traffic lights and turn left. Follow 17/92 for 5 mins until you get to next set of traffic lights.....on the left is Publix.....local prices Also there is a Walgreens and lots of other shops. Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club is opposite.

Alternatively, turn right out of Cumbrian Lakes. Now you have two choices...Walmart or Publix ! Look out for Oren Brown on the right...that takes you right to Walmart. Otherwise, continue straight back upto US 192 and turn right. Go half a mile and turn left up SR 535 and the more expensive Publix is there.

Thanks, FLeisure. We're thinking we'll stop off at the one on SR535 on route from the airport, but we'll undoubtedly need to do a couple more shops during our trip. Which one do you use?

We always go to the one on 17/92...have an aversion to paying tourist prices

My advice is to get the things you need from the one on 535 on your way to the home and then do the other Publix a day or so later !!
