closest smoking area to deck 5- not me, dh

of course i had to show dh where our secret porthole room is.
he asked where the nearest smoking area is - anyone know?
and is the theatre on deck 5, the movie theatre? or the show theatre?

Can't help you with the nearest smoking area. That's the movie theatre on Deck 5. The Walt Disney Theatre (where they have the shows) is on Deck 4 forward.

Tell your DH deck 4 is a great place to get your nicotine fix. There isnt' very many people on it & it is REally close to the water for a nice view. It is the walking track so there are all the health nuts (kidding) walking. I try to be considerate of them. The life boats are right above you so it doesn't disapate as quickly. Unless we were at the Mickey pool, deck 4 is where I enjoyed a smoke. There is no smoking around the mickey pool, you just have to walk up the steps & smoke up on the next deck. A warning though- have fun trying to find an ashtray, they are few & far between!

We had the same problem finding ash trays---we went to the 24hr coffee bar an filled a cup with water and used that. Deck 9 was a nice spot, you could find some shade there.

I actually did my walking at about 5 in the morning (and 4 laps is actually a little more then a mile for those who are counting) and was never bothered by smokers. Actually sat next to an ash tray while reading one day and the smoke didn't bother me then either. The 4th deck is one of my favorite places on the ship....and only a year and a half until I get to go again.
