Closest shopping mall to WDW?

Am I right in thinking that the closest shopping malls to WDW are at the BOTTOM end of I-drive? I know that there are also malls at the top of I-drive, but I am convinced WDW is closer to the bottom. Confirmation anyone?

Premium outlets on Vineland Ave is near disney.

Nearest non outlet mall is Florida Mall.

You're right in thinking that the bottom end of I-Drive is closer to WDW. I-Drive in itself, though, is split. There's the part which most people think of as being I-Drive, anchored by Festival Bay at the top end and Pointe Orlando at the bottom, but it then also extends into a far less touristy section known as Interntational Drive South. This is where the original Premium Outlet Mall is situated (it's confusing because what was the Prime Outlet Mall at the top of I-Drive is also now called Premium Outlets) and is very easy to access from WDW via Hotel Plaza Blvd.

The Florida Mall and The Mall at Millenia are virtually equidistant from WDW, both in terms of miles and travelling distance.

Thanks Deb. So when we get the taxi from our dolphin hotel its the premium outlet mall at the bottom of I-drive we want to ask the taxi driver for. Nice one!

Just ask for the Premium Outlets on Vineland Avenue, just to save any confusion!

This is our favourite mall. Whenever we go I always have to eat at China Max in the food court, love it!

Yep nice and easy to get and really good mall/outlet....Oh and the food court is good too...
