Hello!

Which resort bus stop has the shortest walking distance to MGM?

The Swan?

Thank you! :thumbsup2

Definitely the Swan, but there is a shortcut to the Boardwalk that is almost as close.

I'm not sure of your question. The Swan, like alll the other EPCOT resorts, doesn't have bus service to MGM. I don't know which resort's bus stop at MGM is closest to the entrance gate.

BWV has the shortest walk to MGM studios. The pathway is on the BWV side of the canal.

Could someone please describe what this walkway (from Epcot Resorts to MGM) is like?

I will actually be coming from Downtown Disney, which does not have a bus to MGM... so I was going to take a bus from DTD to the closest MGM resort and walk!

Thanks!

Bus service from DTD isn't very good. I'd pay to park at MGM. If you don't have a car I'd walk to SSR and then take a bus directly to MGM.

How long does this take? And where do I start?

Thanks!

The walkway runs alongside the BWV's and should take about 10 minutes.

This is the walkway. The BWV are on the left side and the Swan is to the right in this particular photo. If you happen to be staying at the BWV, you'll be able to go right down the back stairs, through the quiet pool area and drop right onto the path, already 1/3 of the way there.

Personally, I'd say BWV are closer than the Swan. Don't forget, when you're staying at the Swan you have to walk toward the BWI/BWV entrance area anyway which briefly takes you out of the way only to sorta backtrack onto the path. See here -- this is us walking from the Swan to the path. Here you'll see the entrance from the Swalphin areas into the BW area.

and

All of that is unnecessary if you're already at the BW.

from the boardwalk busstop, you would cut thru the luna park pool area to the walkway. definately faster than the swan/dolphin.
