Closest grocery store to DL?

We will be staying at Paradise Pier for several days and would like to keep a supply of snacks and drinks in our hotel room. Can someone tell me where the closest real grocery store is? (Safeway or similar)

Also, is there a place to buy snacks (chips, crackers, fruit, etc.) and drinks (soda, beer, etc.) at the Paradise Pier Hotel or elsewhere on Disney property?

We stayed at PPH recently. The shop in the hotel sells drinks, snacks, candy, etc. The drinks are the same price as in the parks though($2.50 or $2.75 for a bottle of water or 20oz bottle of soda).

Not a grocery store, but down Harbor (a main drag) there is a Target that has most of what you might want at a fair price.

It as across the street from Hyatt Regency...less than a mile away.

We usually end up there.

<font color=navy>Paradise Pier is on Disneyland Drive. Go south on DL Drive to Katella, turn left on Katella & get on right side. Turn right on Harbor (Disneyland Park is on Harbor), and go south about 1.5 to 2 miles. You'll see a Food for Less (budget grocery store) on the right, and just past that you'll see an Albertsons on the left.

Safeway left our area quite a few years ago, and Albertsons bought out Luckys a few years ago, too. It's a good grocery store, though.

If you want sundries, etc., then Target is a good store to go to.

I'll be staying at the HoJO without a car, how can I get to Target? I'll be coming into SNA, would it be on the way to the hotel or opposite direction? Is it within walking distance or a cab should do it? Just want to get Water and some snacks for the room. . .

Disnee Dad Says................................ Just a shot in the dark, but I've been to DL several times. No matter where you stay you will probably be within a couple blocks of an AM/PM, 7/11, etc.

Costs a bit more, but you walk to the store, and save cab fare.

There is a 7-11 just a few blocks down from HO-JO's. On the same side as the Disneyland entrance on Harbor. There is also another market next door to it which has good prices. DO NOT go to the minnie mart just up from the entrance (on the opposite side. The prices are awful but the service is even worse.

We always go to the Food 4 Less in Fullerton. It is next door to the Disneyland Warehouse Store.
