When you leave WH and go up to 192 turn left (head west) and there's a Marketplace (Winn Dixie) in the Formosa Gardens Plaza on your left about a mile. More expensive than Publix. If you keep going on 192 for about 3 miles there's a Publix on your right in the Orange Lake Plaza. There's also another one on your right about 3 miles past that one. There's a Super Walmart about 6 - 7 miles to the west on 192, take the exit for 27 north and the Walmart is less than a quarter mile on right behind Burger King.

Be sure not to turn on to 192 for Dunkin Donuts. Use the side roads within Westgate & turn into the gas station to save a TON of traffic hassles.

Go to where it says Formosa Gardens Blvd ( on the left about half way ). Click on the red "map". This will bring up a detailed map of the subdivisions in that area. Technically WH is on Old Lake Wilson Rd. but this map shows it best. WH runs from where you see it marked left to where Rolling Hills is ( by Golden Pond Ct.) That little lake and landscaping separate the two subdivisions. There's an entrance now on Livingstone Rd as well as the one on Old Lake Wilson Rd.
It's less than a mile from 192 to the entrance of WH on Old Lake Wilson Rd.

Thanks so much for explaining & for the new map. We're going at the end of June-staying in a townhouse. Very excited. It's actually our first time off property & we're pretty excited about the proximity to everything at this location and having the private splash pool.

Just got back yesterday. Loved Windsor Hills, close to all the parks. I did Publix twice, good prices and great selection. Got the sale prices without needing a store card. I did see a Dunkin Donuts very close to Windsor Hills on 192. You'll need it. We made our own coffee and it doesn't taste right because of the awful tasting water. If you are picky about your coffee you better buy some bottles of water. I didn't even like rinsing my mouth with it when I brushed my teeth. Yuck!

What exactly was it you didn't like about the water? We leave in less than two weeks and are staying in WH too.

The water in Florida is healthy to drink but has a strong smell of sulfur and is not to my liking in taste. We purchase the 2.5 gallon bottles with the spouts and keep them in the fridge and also single use bottles to take to the parks. Some folks do not mind the tast of the water.

Ditto to the sulfur taste. I'm sure the FLA residents are used to it. It just didn't taste good to me. We did drink bottled water but forgot to get the big gallon jugs to use for coffee. So, we suffered through with the coffee. I didn't mind the coffee because I'm not picky. But my mom complained all week about getting a "real" cup of coffee.
