Closest Community to AKL

We are staying t AKL and my mom and sister would like to come down and rent a house during the time we will be there.

Do you know what community would be the closest to AKL?

You could literally make it door to door from Windsor Hills in under 5 minutes. I don't think you could find anything closer.

We will be going in June and staying at Windsor Hills. Here is the map I'm using to get us from the condo to AK - it says 8.1 minutes for the time it takes to get there, but I think they try to work in stop lights and estimated traffic. I've read a lot of people who say that they made it in 5 minutes. Hope it helps:

Your directions are taking you to Animal Kingdom Lodge. You will need to turn right onto Osceola Parkway, and then take a left about 400 yrds which is signed Animal Kingdom

there is actually a short cut that cuts out travel on 192. I can make it to AKL within 5 min from WH

now if they would take a timeshare - silver lake is next door to AKL.

okay this depends upon Silver lake back entrance being opened. Sometimes it is closed.
