Closest Beach

Where is the closest beach to Orlando. We have stayed on Cocoa Beach, but didn't know if a gulf coast beach would be better/closer.

I'm pretty sure Cocoa Beach is the closest to Orlando.

Hi - Clearwater is a 1 3/4 hour trip from Orlando - and well worth the visit. Or slightly longer at just under 2 hours is St Pete's.

They're all great.

Gulf Coast beaches ARE better, IMHO! White, powder sand, clearer prettier water. Of course I grew up on gulf coast beaches , a bit partial to them!

to the gulf beaches of the tampa/st.pete area. Anywhere from Maderia Beach to St.pete Beach is fine. there are many public access beaches along gulf blvd.
