I know they dont close parks during thunder storms but what about water parks thank you in adcanced
We were at TL on Tuesday when a VERY LARGE thunderstorm approached. They not only closed the park, but, after it started raining, hailing and the wind started blowing, they shut down the buses as well. We stood at the stop for about 40 minutes until the buses started moving again. There were enough people to keep me protected anyway.
I don't know about other times, but, this time they closed the whole park.
Disney will do everything they can to keep parks open and rides operating during rain, but if it becomes a safety issue and they close the park / ride, you're not likely to get a refund. Contrary to popular belief, Disney does not control the weather.very intresting since they closed the park did they refund you?

We??? So,,,there is a group of you that own the park?[/QUOTE
As for the "WE" that you are making fun of; whenever you have a job and work for someone you become part of the "we" for that company be it a school, a business, or a church etc. .
We've been at BB during rainand can still ride the slides and play in the wave pool, but they close rides during storms if lightning has been sighted within ? # of miles. I can't remember how far away. It clears out the parks and by the time we finish a snack the whole place is practically to ourselves!
Do you have any idea how much paperwork is involved if a Guest gets struck by lightening?
Cheshire Figment actually works in the water parks, so when he says "we", he means "here at the water parks, we ..." He's speaking as someone who works there, not as just a regular guest. We??? So,,,there is a group of you that own the park?
