I am sorry I havent read the whole thread. Would we be able to take our mugs into the park (i know we cant refill them in the park)? Would we be able to poor our left over drinks from our meals into them to carry around or have water in them?

That is my plan for Animal Kingdom. Since that park doesn't allow lids or straws, I plan to pour my soda into my mug. It has a lid.

Depending on how it works, I may do it at the other parks.

Resort mugs changed to the current design in February 2014 (this year), so we're still in a relatively "new mug" period. There won't be a Christmas version of the resort mugs.

Resort mugs will not be Christmas themed, but there are non-refillable, single serving Christmas themed park mugs for about $5.

I'm headed to the World next week with my mom. In Feb. hubby and I are going down.

Here's my question: In Feb. can I bring back the mugs from the Nov trip and BUY a new plan for them? I hate to get another set of mugs (we don't use them at home) if I don't have to.

I'm not trying to get free drinks or anything. I just don't want to waste mugs for no reason. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your answer and your kindness! It really made my night that you took the time to answer my question! I read the FAQ on the first page of this thread but they are from 2010. Again, a BIG thanks. The boards always make trip planning so much easier, especially with a community as nice as this one.

I will ask about bringing the mug back when I'm there in Nov. I don't mind paying, I just don't want to waste plastic.

If you ask for the "length of stay" pricing, the CM will set it for 14 days regardless of how long you are staying. Have fun!

Does anyone know what colors are available right now? We will have five in our party and wanted to know if we can all get different colors.

Usually there are only 3 colours at a time. For other options, people usually just switch lids, or put an elastic around their cup, or mark it in some way to differentiate it from the others.

There are 4 colors for the mugs. Just take a Sharpie along to mark the 5th. Have fun!

For people who have more than 4 in their party, I saw people who brought colored duct tape (can buy for cheap at Home Depot) and they wrapped a strip around the middle of the mug to differentiate between two of the same colored mugs

Quick question as we usually use the DP and get them free but I'm going in January solo and not getting the DP, so what I'm wondering is what is the cost. I've googled it and tried to find it but what I keep finding is $17.99 for length of stay. My question is does that $17.99 include the cost of the mug and if not does anyone know the cost of the mug. Sorry I couldn't go through 200 pages to try and find the answer.
