Hi - I have 500 300 Copper Creek points to rent. $20 per point.

Am able to book 11 months in advance for Copper Creek, and 7 months in advance for all other resorts. These are December use-year points, so as of today, am able to book into January 2023. Minimum 3 night rental please.

Hi - sorry, but only waitlist for CC at this point. There aren't many studios at CC - and they go pretty much immediately.

The only studios open at this point are at Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. And 1brs at both of those, plus Kidani, Riviera and Boardwalk. Happy to look for more if you'd like - cheers - Erik

Hi again - and sorry again. No studios available to book for 6/16-20 anywhere on property. There are single nights and a couple of two night options - but nothing for all 4 nights. The only thing I can find for all four nights is a 1br at Saratoga Springs.

Afternoon update: Have 300 points remaining to rent.

Getting a lot of inquiries via direct message - and thought I should share some thoughts for those who haven't rented points before or don't do so very often - to improve chances of success, because room inventory is so tight right now.

Thing 1 - Studios: DVC inventory is very limited especially for studios and inside of 7 months - and particularly at popular resorts like Beach Club, Poly, Grand Flo, CCV, etc. There's more availibility at Kidani, OKW and SSR - if you're flexible. Thing 2 - 1 and 2br: 1 and 2br availibly is a bit easier, but only slightly so, with 2brs typically easiest.

Thing 3 - dates: Holiday and peak periods are really tight. If you have flexibility or have a 2nd or 3rd choice of resort - that can make things easier. And if anyone is looking for Dec 2022 holidays - we're getting close.

Thing 4 - timing: Lots of folks are trying to book at the 7 month mark to the day - but even that is difficult even if logged on at 8am EST. However, I'm seeing that after a week or two after that - things start to open up as people cancel placeholders or their waitlists come through. Or if you're able to book points in a home resort before that 7 month window - that's even better.

Thing 5 - flexibility: I've been most successful finding reservations when there's some flexiblility - with dates, choices of resort (1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices) and room categories. And then using waitlists to fill in a gap of one or two dates. I know that this much more difficult to do for short-in reservations, but I've had very good success with waitlists filling - and it usually works out well if there's enough time. YMMV of course and nothing is guaranteed...but I've had good success.

Thing 6 - things change quickly: A great thing about DVC is ability to make and cancel reservations easily. What's not so great is that I suspect that drives a lot of placeholder reservations - which are often canceled, moved, etc. as plans firm up, and particuarly 4+ months in advance. So just because something is booked today, doesn't mean it won't open up in a couple of days or a week. Peristence and patience are key.

Apologies if any of this redundant - I know it's covered elsewhere in much more depth. But hoping it's helpful to someone, somewhere. Cheers - Erik
