Closed resorts - resort change?

Hi everyone,

Has anybody with a 2020 trip booked at a closed resort been able to change their reservation? It says on the website "those currently traveling July 11 - December 31, 2020 may request assistance beginning Monday, June 22", so I called today about moving to an open resort but was told no. Just wondering if anyone else has had luck?

I’ve been told this. They said they are going to start contacting people after the 27th. Starting with those that have the earliest reservations. I’m september, so could be a while.

Thanks for this. I was holding off phoning for a fair while yet as I’m not until September too. A case of sit tight, cross fingers and see what happens. I really love POFQ due to its size, the thought of a large resort fills me with dread!

Yeah I've seen people on the other thread calling and getting moved, even for trips as far as November. I called and asked if I could modify to CBR & pay difference if there was any but was still told no. I'm just concerned about availability. I would like to know where we'll be staying sooner rather than later... but as long as we have a room somewhere I'll be happy.

I think you are better to wait for them to tell you. That way you are more likely to get a free upgrade, rather than have to pay.
