yes, the points can be used anywhere, if not using at the BWV, must wait until 7 months out to make reservations

We are looking for a Studio at BWV for 7/26 through 8/3. (Can cut it short to 8/2 if it helps get us in BWV)

I think it would take 89 points for the 5 nights.

I just realized that you answered my post regarding Disneyland.

Could you check on a STUDIO at the Grand Californian, checking Sept 14 and checking out Sept 17 (3 nights)?

Unless you own at the Grand Californian, reservations may not be made until June 21 for anything. The only people who can currently make reservations are the owners so unless there is an owner on these boards, no one can help you with your request above. Sorry.
