I have 200 (or more if needed) points for Beach Club Villas available for rent.

Still early enough to book a late May, June or July summer 2009 trip.

Points can be used elsewhere within the 7-month booking window.

These are from my 2009 (February) use year, so I'd need to check on whether or not they can be used before February 2009.

Post or PM if interested.

Hi - we are looking for a one-bedroom unit at BCV in April...either before or after Easter break. How many points would be needed for a one-bedroom for 7 or 8 nights at BCV?

that's the "premier season" so the points are as follows:

Sun-Thu = 19 points per night
Fri-Sat = 43 points per night

Depending on your schedule, you can calculate the number of points required.

If those were our dates...that's 224 points?? Is that correct?
Can you book for more than 6 nights? Is there a rule regarding dates arriving, leaving, etc...
Thanks so much!!

Actually, you only will have one night in the premium time, but I gave you the studio points and not the one-bedroom points.

Here's the correct point values for that time:

4/18 - 75
4/19 - 30
4/20 - 30
4/21 - 30
4/22 - 30
4/23 - 30
4/24 - 60
4/25 - 60

total - 345 points

If you wanted a Studio it would be 177 points for this time

No problem on number of nights.

Hmmm...I guess my gut is telling me studio is the way to go but I'm wondering if it would feel too crowded with 2A and 2C...basically we want to enjoy Disney property but not have to buy all our meals...we stayed 5 days on Disney property last year and 7 days off...we loved being on property but got tired of eating out...the time-share was beautiful and was fully equipped, but it's not the same "feeling" as Disney...that's for sure! How does the studio size compare to the one-bedroom? I thought it was about half...it must be because that is quite a difference in price...

You are being so helpful...thank you!! Is there a place on the DIS Boards where I can find out the seasons, points needed, etc? Thanks so much!!!

I stayed in a studio earlier this year 2A, 1C and there was plenty of room.

The studio does not have a full kitchen, but has a small refrigerator, microwave, paper plates, etc. We went to the store and got a small amount of food to get us through breakfasts and some snacks, and ate some meals out. If you're good at stowing your stuff in a hotel room you might not mind the space.

You can find the points charts for 2008 here: http://www.dvcbyresale.com/beachclub.html

If you PM me and give me an email address I can send you the 2008/2009 charts for BCV or any other resort.

There's nothing like staying in the middle of the magic!!

Dave

You're very helpful! (and patient) haha.
I don't think I can pm you yet...I'm new to the Boards...just trying to figure out our best options...
Thanks for the info. on the rates, etc....we really prefer April as we like it nice and warm...just trying to avoid Easter...
Thanks so much!

may be too early to book. we are looking for a 1 or 2 bdm unit at the BCV for 7 nights 8/22 - 8/29. Please PM if available. would consider a studio as well.

Good morning.

I'm on the phone with Member Services right now and will check for you. At most we're ten days out from being able to book your entire trip.

At the end of the month we will be able to book the entire trip - either room size - for you.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

I'll PM you with more details.

Dave

I have 2 options I'm looking for points for
BCV studio - 65 points Sun May31, checking out Fri June 5
or
2 bedroom -170 points- same dates
***
Is it a problem to change some of the parties names after booking? If we go with the 2 bedroom we are concerned about people backing out and having to replace them with other family members.

Thanks

Wannabee -

I sent you a PM. Gt back to me at your earliest convenience and we can go from there.

Thanks,
