That's OK. We were all new at one time.

All it means is we "bump" our messages to the top of the page.

Welcome to the DIS!

Thanks that makes sense now - I thought it meant to be deleted or something, as the message had broken a rule! So glad I asked :cool1:

I think one reason you are not getting any replies is that $11/point is over the market asking price these days.

I have seen quite a few people asking $11 per point.

Since you felt the need to question my price in my own post I can tell you I have already rented alot of our points. I think the reason is that most of my points are tied up in Vero and I do not have the 11 mon. booking window at other resorts.

Thank you for your opinion though.

I think it is a fair price. Have you looked into the cost of BUYING a memebership instead of renting from a owner. Have you looked into the maintenance fees? The prices being charged at 11 per point are about 50% off cash rates from Disney. We aren't Disney, we are people that spent hard earned money for these memberships. The only way to make a profit is to have 1,000's of points. I know I dont so I dont make a profit, i am able to supliment the MF fees but that is it.

And I believe your information is incorrect. Ohana's points are not in jepordy of expiring. Why should she take less for her points, her points are valuable, able to get hard to secure reservations. The posts you see for $9 are all due to expire in 3 months. If that fits what you want great, if not then the cost would likely go up for that guarantee of a room. Getting a studio MK view at BLT takes an 11 mo advance call, more valuable points.

I hope you have found your perfect match to rent points to or if I went the wrong direction and you are an owner, if your happy with $9 that is great. But IMHO, our points are more valuable than that.

When Disney stops the super sales in 2011 I think you find $11 is now the low price.

Ohanamom-Sorry to comment on a post that wasn't mine. I think that comment was rude. As well as the same person asking 7 people for the same reservation.
Again we aren't disney, we aren't travel agents we are disney fans too!

I totally agree also with $11 p/pt being a very reasonable price to rent points for. I remember it wasn't too long ago that DVC members were getting $13 p/pt on rentals for AKV points.

:santa:Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
