I'm new to all this, but was wondering what dates in January are still available at the Value resorts. We are hoping to go sometime in Jan. but don't have confirmed reservations yet.

The available dates are posted on the 1st page of each swap. Here is what I have open in my two swaps:

At the Movies:
January 11-24

At the Music:
January 11-19
January 27-February 12

You don't neccisarily have to stay at the particular resort. If you have a car it is very easy to pick up the fridge from it's "home" resort and take it to yours. If you don't have a car you can borrow a rolling luggage cart to transfer between the resorts as the SPORTS, MUSIC and MOVIES are all in a row. If you are staying at the POP you would want to check out some of the POP swaps.

Hi Gina,

Just getting caught up from our trip and saw your post requesting info on how things went with bell services.

When I picked the fridge, etc. up on the 7th I just walked up, said I had a couple of packages in storage for me. She asked if I had a claim ticket, and I said no but that all packages were labeled with my name, check-in date and cell phone number. I described the packaging of the fridge and I think the unique packaging really helped because as soon as I mentioned that she went inside and about a minute later they wheeled them out.

I asked if they could deliver to my room and they agreed and by the time we drove back around to our room and walked up they were wheeling it up to the door. They even unboxed it and plugged it in for me. I tipped them for their service and everyone was happy.

On the 14th, we left early for the launch of Endeavour before Robert & Tracy arrived so I dropped it off with bell services (labeled with Robert & Tracy's info) and mentioned that they would be checking in later that morning.

Both times they were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Thanks again for offering the swap, fridge worked great and was nice and clean.

Awesome! I'm glad he didn't have any trouble getting the fridge. We had bell service pick it up Saturday morning from our room (with a tip of course ) and explained he would be there later in the day to pick it up. Both times with us as well, both picking it up and leaving it for the next person, they were very polite and helpful.

Just a quick FYI, when we picked up with fridge, everything inside was pretty wet, from the condensation I suppose. We were going to ask a future swapper to bring along a box of baking soda, the one that was in there was no longer any good so we had to throw it out. We actually unplugged the fridge a day early to let it dry out good before we boxed it up.

The fridge worked excellent though, and my Mom used the coffee maker almost every morning, so we really enjoyed having that too.

Good points.

Furture swappers: I suggest unplugging it the night before you check out. Prop the door open and put a towel under the door to catch any condensation.
