We are here now and there are four outlets at the bedside table and two more at the small sitting table.
Thank you so much for this information. It helps.
Enjoy your stay.

My DS is a huge UP fan and DW let the cat out of the bag and told him we're staying at WL in Aug. To commemorate, I finally made my countdown signature.
Hi All! This Saturday is the big day! We'll be @ WL for the first time! Quick question: are there swim vests and towels available at the pool? I thought so, but just double checking! Thanks!
Thanks for the swim vest/towel info!
I'll change your dates. We changed our dates... still CL for the first time, at WL Nov.8-19. Alaska had a seat sale and we were able to save money changing our flight.
Woohoo so excited.
Welcome! One night might not be enough - you might have to book a BouncebackWe are spending 2D/1N Apr 26-27. We first booked PO-R, but changed it to WL! This is the first time we'll be staying at WL - first time for Deluxe. We will be celebrating our son's 15th birthday, and we can't wait!!! Thanks for all of the fantastic information!!!![]()
Hope you're still having a great vacation. Does it look like the VWL rehab is completely over?We arrived this morning around 10:20 am and our room was ready. We are in room 5324, which is a one bedroom villa. The layout is very nice. Plenty of room to store things. When we checked in, the CM told me they had just finished our room yesterday. She also said that most of the refurb is done, except for a few details here and there.
The room looks very nice. Though it does look like they were in a rush tiling around the bottom of the tub. The wood around the tub is pushed in so the tile is sort of sticking out. No biggie in the grand scheme of things.
Our room doesn't have much of a view. We see the top of the walkway from the lodge to the villas and the bus stop. Sat out there for a few minutes while waiting for my sister to get here and it was very peaceful.
The weather was horrible , but we didn't let it stop us . We went to MK and a bus pulled up just as we got to the bus stop. Grabbed a bite to eat and then the down pour began. Bought ponchos and continued to due our thing.
We had dinner at Chef Mickeys and took the boat back to the resort. It was so nice having that option.
As the week goes on, I will share more of what we experience during our first stay at VWL. So far , so good.
Hi Kook!can you add us to the list? It will be just DH and I on our first ever adults only trip!
Aug 20-24 WL![]()
Bienvenido! The Disney shipping information can be a bit confusing as they make it seem that everyone pays, but from what I've heard and was already posted, it's only the convention resorts with convention/business centers that charge. We will be there from september 14th until the 21st.
It will be our immediate family´s 4th stay at the lodge, but will be the first for my parents and siblings, there will be 16 of us
I have one question only, since we live in Mexico, we usually order quite a few things off amazon and a couple of stores that don´t ship to Mexico, and I have never had the hotel charge me anything for storing a few (or many) boxes for a few days before our trip, but Reading the information on this thread, I think that I understand that people are charged a few dollars for every package and for every day it is stored?
TIA![]()
There is also an outlet right next to one bed on the wall that separates the bed from the sink area beneath the painting:Hello,
If anyone is at the WL now can you tell me how many electrical outlets there are in the room by the beds? I am looking to see how easy/hard it will be for 2 CPAP machines to be plugged in. Wondering if we will need 2 extension cords or not.
Thank you!!
Sure will!I am very excited we will definitely be staying WL CL from Sept 18 - 23. This is our first time at WL and first time CL. Kook take the ? away we are ding it
Yep, the cobbler is offered at TL. Did you make any location requests?Don't they still offer the cobbler at TL? Probably a better chance of getting it to go there I would think.
Just booked a ten day stay at WL for June. I ended up with a courtyard view instead of my typical woods view - so it will be nice to have a little change of scenery.
We will be staying WL woods view 6/12-6/17
Then moving over to POFQ for 2 nights.
Congratulations on booking. I just love FW and I know your boys will, too. Here's a map to help you plan:We are staying October 20-27 at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. We are super excited!
I have a quick question (which would probably be answered if I read through the thread) how long does it take to walk from the Lodge to Trails End and the campfire? We have 2 little guys and a double stroller will be used.
Thanks so much!!!!
I just love seeing the ponies, especially in blue and pink jackets. Love those photos, Sue.Here are the ponies in their coats on a cold morning in January. They looked cute like that.![]()
I'll add your dates to the Lodgers' Log andHi All...
New DISer here and first timer to WL.
I toured WL the last time I was at WDW in 2011 (I know WAY too long) and knew I had to stay there next time. Well next time is finally here! Heading there in 70 days (6/9 - 6/16) with DW, DD and DD's friend. Also first time taking a friend and a teenager at that, both are 15. We also just found out it will be extra special as DD's friend will be moving at the end of June to Seattle (from DFW) so this will be a great way for them to create some lasting memories.
One question though. How good is WL in meeting room requests? We've booked Woods View with Bunk Beds and I know there aren't too many Bunk Bed rooms so what's the chances of getting something on upper floors with an Otter Pond view and no connecting door?
Thanks for the help!
Just proving that dansdad is rightHi There,
Can anyone tell me if the store at the Lodge sells a milk alternative? Do you know what it is? What about bread?
Only 33 days to go!
Thanks!
Staying here 11/17-11/22, for my "midway through my 40s" birthday and the FIRST time I have every been able to travel after Nov 1 (I worked in retail 26 years), so our first Christmas-ey visit. First WL visit!!! 2005 Pop/2006 POFQ/ 2009 & 2012 ASMo ( 1992 I went to GF with my parents and 2011 we went to Disneyland Paradise Pier). Sooooo excited!!!! My husband and 2 kids have all celebrated birthdays at WDW, now it is my turn! I picked WL and my daughter (college aged) is NOT thrilled with the choice, but I am sure we will be happy.
And don't worry about the questions and overplanning, don't we all do that here?
Superduper ticker! My DS is a huge UP fan and DW let the cat out of the bag and told him we're staying at WL in Aug. To commemorate, I finally made my countdown signature.
It started late last year with the new lifeguard requirement. The pool/hot tub should be open till 10:00 in the warmer months, but they are only open now when a lifeguard is on duty.I don't know if it's the new policy only for winter months, but when we were there end of January, they had just recently started closing the pool and hot tub at 9:00pm.
I'll change your dates. Welcome! One night might not be enough - you might have to book a BouncebackHope you're still having a great vacation. Does it look like the VWL rehab is completely over?

Hey WDWKook, can you update my log to be a WL first timer as well? Thanks!
The ponys are at the barns near WLAre the pony rides done at the barns closest to WL or the ones in the opposite corner of FW? Sent from my iPad using DISBoards
The ponys are at the barns near WL(actually in a fenced area just East of the barn, between it and Trail's End / Hoop De Doo)
