I actually was :lmao: But the rate for WL couldn't be beat so the boys will be on the other side of Bay Lake...I know It's crazy to stay at two separate resorts...but I never claimed to be sane...it's a boys trip within a family trip :thumbsup2

Just checking to see what you're doing over here....:rotfl2:

You never can tell....

You're welcome and let us know if you have any other questions:goodvibes

Well, there is another question that's kind of bothering me. The rep who booked my reservation for the CL king room said it was on the 14th floor, and when I called and checked the reservation on the automated phone line the autovoice referred to my reservation as a "tower room." Which is great, because, as you have kindly informed me, both king tower rooms have the TPV. But here's the thing--my email confirmation simply says "Standard Room-King-Club Level." There's nothing on paper that specifies the floor or "tower" vs. "atrium." Do you think I could wind up on the Atrium level, according to what's available when I check in, and lose the TPV? It's not that I have anything against BL--it's a beautiful view--but I like to be prepared and knowing what to expect is part of that. I'm kind of surprised that the paper confirmation isn't more specific. Thanks for any help!

We had the same issue when we booked. All our paperwork said Standard Room King Club Level and we kept getting different answers to whether or not we were confirmed for the 14th floor......
We were there last month and we were indeed booked for the 14th floor and it was amazing!

And to make things even more mysterious, on the Disney online booking page, the only CL rooms listed in the menu are the "Standard Room-Atrium Club Level" and the "Theme-Park View-Atrium Club Level." There isn't even a Tower option. I guess that's just the way it is--but I hope our reservation works out as well as yours did. Glad you had a wonderful time! What did you like best, if I may ask. (Still feeling guilty about the $, even though with the pin code the CL is less expensive than the TPV room we had originally booked--I don't understand how that makes sense business-wise for Disney, but I'm definitely not complaining!)

The tower club rooms are not bookable online. (Disney has many rooms and suites that are not bookable online for most deluxe resorts.)

For my GF std room RPC it shows up at std club level on orbitz and Travelocity etc. The sugarloaf building is listed as "outer building" club level. I think you should be OK with the way it is listed. Waiting for Kook to reply but I didn't want you to wait needlessly with worry.

Have fun on the 14 th floor! If you haven't watched the new lounge video on youtube from allears, the space looks amazing.:goodvibes

I loved that video! And the excitement is building for sure already! Being old school, I just like the paperwork to agree with the verbal confirmation, but if that's not the way it works...I will start trying to adapt. Breathing deeply... But, when my rational voice kicks in, even the "worst case" scenario--having a BL view instead of a TPV--is still pretty darn wonderful. I mean, I never imagined that we would have the opportunity to stay CL, so this is a real treat.

Can someone point me to the post which features of the views from each BLT room?

CL is worth every penny to us. Our room was next door to the lounge which I loved. I have stayed at Poly CL and Yacht club CL and I really liked both of them, but Tower club was incredible because most of the time it seemed like we had the lounge to ourselves! We honestly felt like Celebrities because the staff all remembered us and went above and beyond to make our vacation special. I really thought I wouldn't find a better CL than the Poly but I was wrong by a mile.

You will NOT be on the Atrium Club level as those rooms are designated with "Atrium Club" in the booking. The booking code for a King Tower Club room is "CW" and reads: Standard Room King Club Level. A Queen room is even more mysterious and reads: Standard Club Level Room.

I have no idea why Disney makes it so mysterious so that even the CMs aren't sure what floor they're booking, but I assure you you're on the 14th with "CW" and "Standard Club Level." For an Atrium Club booking with a Bay Lake View, it reads: Standard View and not Bay Lake View and a Standard View for the Garden Wing is the parking lot and not Bay Lake:crazy2:. Trish is correct that you can't book the Tower Club level online. You have to know those 5 non-suites exist (or the suites) and call to ask a (possibly mildly confused) CM about them.

If you ever need to find it in the future, the BLT Room View thread is hyperlinked in the BLT section of this thread. It's a great resource:

Excellent. Thanks, KOOK!

I have been lucky enough to have stayed at BLT 3 times. Once on the south side outer C, once north side outer C, and once on the inside on very end(row5).

If any questions I will try to help. We liked the end facing the CR with view of their pool, marina and monorail. The other end with a view of MK was nice but too quiet. (view straight on was ALL lake). View on inside C was of pool and boat activities and unfortunately of people across from us.

Really though all were nice:thumbsup2

Floors 4, 7, 8. Views were all good from there.

Actual room #'s 7742, 7410, 7805

This sounds wonderful! And you answered a question I didn't even know I had...which was...is the lounge very crowded? Thank you!

This is very helpful. Thank you! I feel reassured now. We do not have the "CW" on our paperwork, but we do have the rest of it: "Standard Room-King-Club Level," so things are looking good!

I just found some pictures of the standard rooms from the 14th floor from 2008.

now, 5 years later, have these rooms been refurbished?
when looking at the floor plan, the king rooms are smaller? Is that correct?

The 14th was JUST refurbished this year.

I've never been in a 14th floor room, but they do appear to be a bit smaller from the floor plan, but remember they all have a HUGE balcony. I'm hoping to be there next year to see for myself but I'm not sure if the budget will hold.

Hey everyone!

I have been lurking here for a while and would love to join if you would have me!

We booked 6 nights (4/5 - 4/11) at the Contemporary, Atrium Club Level with a Theme Park View! This will be my first time down there and I am bringing the hubby and two munchkins (2 and 4) too!

Have I mentioned I'm excited?? :cheer2::cheer2:
