Quick question as we'll be there in about 4 hours. Do the 1 bedrooms at BWV have DVD players? Trying to figure out if we need to bring our portable one in. Thanks.

You must book a Club Level room/suite/garden cottage at BWI to have access to the lounge. The only DVC villas with available CL access are at Jambo House/AKL.

DH & I have a current YC CL reservation for October and today he's decided we should extend our stay an extra night but would have to switch resorts as YC has no availability. Want to stay in Boardwalk area because of F&W & there is availability at BWI. What can we expect as far as the offerings at BWI CL? If it matters, we've only stayed CL at BC...are the food options at BWI better? TIA

When I say real spa, I mean with massage services and a sauna, steam room and things like that. Or even just those things without the massage services. Muscles and Bustles has a sauna and a steam room as well as weights, treadmills, etc. Massage services are offered, but you need to schedule those. The sauna and steam room were very clean (the whole place was clean, but I always pay special attention to those things). They do not appear to get a lot of use -- we checked them out mid-day before we wanted to use them in the evening. There were a couple of people on treadmills and doing weights, but that's it. (That was in March; we were also there last August and I used the weights but never noticed if anyone used the sauna or steam room.)

I know you don't care about the hot tubs, but I thought I'd mention that there are hot tubs by the quiet pool on the BWI side and by the feature (Clown) pool. I do not know if there is another hot tub by the BWV quiet pool; I would think so, but don't remember.

There are also spa services offered at YC and there is a full service spa at the Swan/Dolphin (Mandera I believe is the name).

Currently the food options are all from Kouzina, but with them closing in September I am hoping they go back to previous options. Food from the restaurants on the Boardwalk were offered on different nights. Time will tell!! Breakfast is the same though.

Also, I'm with you on the whole food thing. A major part of my WDW vacation (or, sadly, any vacation) is our dining experiences. How I wish I could be a person who forgets to eat or doesn't care about food. Or, maybe not.

As for the Mandara Spa at the Swan/Dolphin, we can't use their spa facilities like the sauna and steam room right? Maybe I'll book a massage there...DVC members do get a nice discount there. I'll have to look into it!

Hey everyone!

WDWKOOK I wanted to let you know we changed our ressie from a deluxe to the 2 bedroom suite at BWI. Same dates! Very excited.

It is the one with 2 kings and a queen sleeper sofa with a garden view. Has anyone stayed in this one?

The CM stated it was on the same floor as the CL. Can someone verify?

I'm REALLY happy with our 1 BR. It's exactly the location I wanted in one of those great corner rooms with an enormous wrap around balcony.
