Not quite a bird's eye view, but I like it.

More like an elephant's butt view, but still a great picture. C'mon October.

Right next to the bakery on the boardwalk is the refill station. There's a big sign that directs you where it isHey, I've looked quite a few places, but no answer: Where does one get their refillable mugs filled at Boardwalk? I'm sure it's an easy answer, and I'd figure it out as soon as I checked in, but I'm curious!

HA! Very realistic circus-like settingMore like an elephant's butt view, but still a great picture. C'mon October.
Welcome to the thread! I've never been at WDW on July 4, so I can't comment, but I hope you have a wonderful vacation! I'll log your dates.Visiting this thread for the first time since we just booked BWV 1 BR for 6/29-7/6. We have stayed at YC/BC before, but never BW, and reading all the posts here is fun!
Any tips for the best way to celebrate July 4th on the Boardwalk? We're thinking of heading to MK on the 3rd, but staying around the resort/Epcot on the 4th.
Nice to see you all the way over here from VWL. Will you be doing a TR? I'll add your dates to the BB.DW and I, along with DD and DSiL, are returning to the BWV from June 1st thru June 6th. This will be our 2nd stay in one of our home DVC resorts and this time in a 2br standard view. I love this thread. I learn something with nearly every visit here! Thanks to all.

I think I read that there is now a sep. line at the bakery for refills. I hope so. at the Dig Site pool at Coronado it was irritating to wait in a line of people ordering food just to get refills.
are we sure they will continue to give refills at the Leaping Libations pool bar? they were on our last trip, but that was when the bakery was closed for refurbishment. I how so, because to wants to venture out onto the boardwalk in your swimsuit? (not I!) I just wonder becuase at POR riverside, they would not fill your mugs. you had to walk across the bridge to the food court. actually, same thing with most pool bars, if I remember correctly.
We will be staying in a standard studio May 23-27 before heading to Vero Beach.
We land at 10:10 AM so I was going to request early check. Any chance of that happening? We've had great luck in the past at OKW & BC.
Also, what other preference besides early check in would you suggest at BW? We don't like a long walk down the hallways or much noise. The kids like to swim so maybe near the main or quiet pools?
Lastly, does anyone have a list of the children's activities at the Community Hall?
thanks,
Tabatha

Are any refill stations at BW open 24hrs? We are staying club level and considering the value of purchasing mugs this year. Most of our resort time is spent by the pool. I don't think anyone is going to want to walk onto the boardwalk to refill.
Maybe we should just bring our old mugs and fill them in the lounge before heading down to swim.

Then you may have to call and add that request. I don't believe that is an option during online check in.
ahhhhhh
isn't it interesting that BW photos don't need photoshop? the resort is stunning without any changes![]()
In the past, although at other resorts, I've faxed my requests directly to the resort three days in advance. I was told that's when the room assigner assigns the rooms. We have gotten our requests. So, you might want to ask now, then fax three days in advance of your arrival. Include special celebrations, special need info, and lots of thank yous.
