Can you add us to the list of DISers who'll be at the Boardwalk? We are staying at the BWV 10/11/14-10/15/14 for Sarah's 21st Birthday Celebration!

Did you ask for a different room at check-in, or did you just figure you'd keep it for the DHS path? We had 2001 once and it was super-noisy. If we got that again, we would definitely try to switch as hard as possible. Glad you're enjoying the stay!

No, we didn't. If I thought we were going use the balcony, I might have, but it was too cold. Plus the CM that checked us in wasn't the friendliest, so I figured, why tempt fate?

Still having good experiences with the Magic Bands. Made some last minute changes for today without any problems. They're growing on me. Now if they'd only get rid of the tier system.

Those are our dates, too! (Though we leave the 14th) how nice for Sarah to have her 21st at Food and Wine!

There is an external staircase at the far end of the boardwalk view villas, right next to Jelly Rolls. That will take you down by the walkway to the studios. There is another staircase about halfway down that hallway (right by where the grand villas are) that takes you down to the boardwalk by the ATM machine (but you cannot open that door to go back up the stairs at that location). On the other side of the Villas side that faces the parking lot, there is a staircase about halfway down the hallway that lets you out on a path by the little pond that is convenient to go to the bus stop or parking lot. At the very end of that hallway is a staircase that brings you down on the backside close to the walkway to the studios. There may be more staircases on the villas side but those are 4 that I have used.

Room 5001 is right next to a stairwell which will take you down to the rear side of the resort, next to the walkway to the studios. We always went down that way when we were in 4001 in December and only used the elevator when we came back to the room, it is actually very convenient there.

This will be his first visit ever to DW and he's 52 (I know!!!!) well for me I lost count how many times, it's my most favorite place in the world! It will be a trip to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. He said we could go anywhere I wanted....ummm easy choice there. This will be my first stay at the BWI and I'm soooooo excited!!

My family and I (DH29,DS4,DS1) will be staying at the Boardwalk Villas May 29 - June 1st! We are DVC members and had some leftover points, so we decided to pop down for a long weekend and check out the star wars event We are booked in a 1 bedroom BW view from May 29-May 31st. I am really interested in requesting a 1 bedroom above Big River Grill, since the balconies look huge(& private) and the my sons would love to see Spaceship Earth For our last night, we will be booking a studio, either pool view or standard, since the bw view is not available. We would love to try and get a view of the ToT. Does anyone have any suggestions about how would I go about getting that...ex..book pool view, request x,y,z, etc.

Please add me again. Two friends and I have decided to come for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon! We may just run the 5k depending on training, but we're there. We're staying CL from Nov. 7-10.

Checked in yesterday and we were awarded Family of the Day and a nice room upgrade! We booked a standard view and I'm currently sitting on my balcony just above the Boardwalk Bakery overlooking the lake and boardwalk activity! Perfect room and great surprise!!!

What a great first-visit booking and I'll add your dates. Half of the ten Deluxe rooms are on the CL's 4th floor. Are you going to make any requests?
