Oh, I see. I thought the sketch was just inverted, with the embellishment at bottom, but I guess if the Title is on top, it's not really inverted. Hope the glue comes off...

What if you used a bigger version of the Mickey head in frames like on the ribbon (just the Mickey head in the box frame) and used that on the bottom like the dragonfly on the sketch, to balance it out? Plus it would cover any glue that was stubborn. Just a suggestion...

I am still lifting it and I will probably love and lift the new version, too if it comes to that!

In reading the requirements line 2 states to stay as close to the sketch as possible... so I personally did not find the sketch top heavy...BUT we will let AWM make the final decision as she is the hostess and she has the final say so.

I am not sure if AWM had full computer access when she looked at things- I will have her look again when she is visiting here tomorrow night.

I can't see that you used anything in the spot where the dragonfly embellishment is so unless I am just missing it you definately need to add that embellishment piece onto the page, but as I said I will see if AWM can look at it tomorrow night.

MorgansMom2000 and 123SA have both completed the page. Neither one looks top heavy.

Changing the shape, adding extra embellishments, rotating the sketch [mirror or other] all still keep in the feel and spirit of the sketch. Moving items is not.

I am sorry if this sounds harsh. However, this is how I feel about interpreting the sketch. Moving around the embellishments, changing the size of the photos, not adding a journaling spot, those are pushing it too far for me.

I like the page. I think it looks nice. However, since others were able to keep the embellishments where the sketch put them, I think they should be there.

If you are unable to fix it without ruining it, I understand if you wish to keep them for yourself. I also understand if you don't want to remake them and would prefer to drop out of that group.



I will make the adjustments to the swapping of the groups later on when I come back.


It was a long night last night and a way to early morning at the water park with WAY too many steps to climb. I'm exhausted and am not in the most pleasant of moods. Sorry if any words sound harsh. It is not my intent. I am even going to beg off meeting with Rebecca tonight, I am just not good company.

Yeah, I think I will .. as I said it's your final say and I just don't happen to agree .. sketches to me are guidelines .. not 100% replicas .. if a creative mood or thought strikes me, I feel I should be able to do that .. swaps are to push and help that creative mood as well .. and I have hosted heaps of swaps on Twopeas, Yahoo and Splitcoaststampers (probaby at least 70+) and I get that it comes down to the hostess .. I am totally cool with it .. but I think I shall bow out .. I have just designed the other sketch, but perhaps element swaps are better suited for me at this point in time ..

I'm back up and running faster than before... one of the kids played w/ a setting and DH was home to fix it..and now it's running faster than before!

I've been in touch w/ AWM and she is cool with Buffy stepping in...so everything is good to move forward!
