CLOSED COMPLETE Disney Sketch Swap

It does make it harder when trying to make the place holders turn into mats. I would go at least 4-1/8 x 6-1/8 for mats if you want to ink the edges.

Here I go...

I am thinking the lace is too much.

Maybe a thinner ribbon or felt/fabric? I love my brother for helping me with this, but he told me the leaves next to the flowers look like footballs! Maybe 3 flowers? And I don't like the journal paper...I think I will use a template or stamp for lines.

Any suggestions/comments/concerns? I'd love any input!

I like the felt lace too. I don't think it is too much at all.

Your brother, :lmao: , it does look like footballs in the photo. :lmao: I'm sure that it doesn't in person though once you can see the details that it is leaves.

It can be your call on the journaling area. It is really difficult sometimes to find paper that is pre-lined that goes with what you envision. Lined paper, drawn lines, and stamped lines are all acceptable. Go with what you like best. :thumbsup2

I love the colors together.:cloud9:

Ah, I love it! AND, I get one! They do look like footballs, but if you place them "around" the flowers, it will look like leaves ;)

Here's Group 1A all completed.

I have to admit I love  the little bag :) I found some pretty pretty organza material with little flecks of bling in it. I made tiny little bags on the machine and tied them on top. They are glue dotted to the page right around the cording.

Lori, I really like your page. I vote for the lace too!!!

Jen, that pixie dust bag is perfect for your page. it!!!!

Here is the one for my other group. I reversed the image. Mickey and Pluto will be smaller (slightly) and better looking. DS decided to help

Well, you tell DS that I think he did a great job!

I do love that layout. The colors look so good together. I really like the loopy border.

DS loves the Cricut more than I do, I think! The border is called Felt Fusion by Queen and Co. My inspiration was...our refillable resort mugs from last year, lol!

OK, now that I know how to upload photos, I am unstoppable.

I drew the journal lines, which looked too perfect, needed more whimsy. I used a smudger (I think is what she called it) from my SIL, and it looks better...still not sure. The lines do go further down, there is just a glare hiding them. Also, it is the shiny Bazzil paper, so I'm afraid journaling might smudge if it goes directly on.

I love Pixie Dust bag Jennifer. It looks awesome all done. :cloud9:

It's a bit bulky, but I do like it :)

Awesome! Both of them!

It looks great!

More than a few of us are using the blingy paper that will end up being journaling spots. I know I have smudge proof pens. Hopefully others do too. Using a heat gun on the ink works too. :thumbsup2
